Smith joined Kelly Clarkson in her titular talk show and shed some light on their new single, "Unholy," and an unexpected present they received from singer Ed Sheeran. The artist revealed that at the time they got the gift, it was so shocking they thought it was a joke at first.

When Clarkson inquired about the suggestive present, Smith told the show host, "Oh my God... It's actually wild. I thought it was a joke, but it's a six-foot-two marble penis. It's two tons, and I'm gonna have to get it craned into my house."

Further on in the interview, Smith, and Clarkson made attempts to name the 4,000-pound penis statue. The duo canceled out on names like "Kevin" and "Philip" because they didn't seem like a good fit. Clarkson said, "That reminds me of Home Alone, so it feels a little weird."

After much deliberation, the duo decided on naming Sheeran's gift the "Duke of Hastings" as a nod to the Netflix series "Bridgerton" and the fan favorite who played the role, Regé-Jean Page. The "American Idol" alum quipped, "Sounds grand and [six-foot-two inches tall]."

Sheeran apparently has a habit of sending his friends phallic-shaped artworks. Smith revealed they weren't the first to receive a marble penis of that size, as music legend Sir Elton John was given the item last year.

In August last year, John joined "Carrie & Tommy," a British radio show, and disclosed what Sheeran gave him for his 74th birthday. "For my birthday this year, he gave me a giant marble penis. I don't know if that's because I've always been a pr*ck or not. It's really big. It's beautifully made, but it's solid marble," the 75-year-old explained.

"I don't know if that's because I've always been a prick or not," the singer said. "What do you buy the man who has everything? A huge marble penis." Despite how beautiful he thought the artwork was, John revealed that he kept it "hidden in an area" in his home away from the prying eyes of his children, Elijah and Zachary.

The "Tiny Dancer" singer seems to have a close friendship with the 31-year-old and, in the interview, described him as a "very generous, lovely man."

During the interview, Smith shed some light on what inspired them to release their newest single, "Unholy," which featured Kim Petras. The 30-year-old specifically highlighted the lyrics "A lucky, lucky girl / She got married to a boy like you / She'd kick you out if she ever, ever knew / 'Bout all the ---- you tell me that you do."

Smith explained, "This song is about being part of someone's secret that you don't want to be a part of. Being in the music industry, I've spent a lot of time with a lot of guys and a lot of dirty pigs. I've been part of secrets I didn't want to be a part of sometimes... I hate secrets. I'm not into it."

They also spoke about their single, "Love Me More," and how the song was the best way to start the new chapter of their music career.
