Jordyn Woods has admitted that 2019 saw her get a little too thin. The 22-year-old model and former best friend to Kylie Jenner took to Instagram on Tuesday with throwback photos from her Cosmopolitan UK cover shoot – the ground-breaking feature saw the star finally open up on her cheating scandal with Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson.
Jordyn’s photos showed the reported 30 pounds she lost following the scandal, with fans proving quick to spot the SECNDNTURE founder’s whittled-down frame.
The stunning snaps showed the entrepreneur smiling and posing against a plain white backdrop as she showcased her curves and toned arms in a chic, one-shouldered black dress in satin fabrics. Jordyn also rocked her long brown hair down, plus a simple pair silver hoop earrings.
“back in London last year for my @cosmopolitanuk cover shoot wearing @easilockshair ! What are your 2020 goals once we can get back to it?” Jordyn wrote.
A comment quickly shot to the top.
“You so skinny,” the fan wrote.
The comment didn’t go ignored as Jordyn personally replied:
“I was last year! Trying to get back to my body goals.”
The interaction also sparked remarks from fans – many seem to feel that the Frst Place CEO looks happier since she was seemingly ditched by makeup mogul Kylie Jenner in early 2019.
“You look great now and less stress,” one user wrote.
“Last year was stressful tho,” another said.
“We stan out thick libra queen tho,” a fan chimed in.
The update also proved popular overall, racking up over 170,000 likes in five hours, also garnering a like from 23-year-old model and girlfriend to rapper Future, Lori Harvey.
Jordyn’s recent travels to the Middle East proved a headline-maker on many fronts. A visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque with younger sister Jodie and mom Elizabeth saw the three – in particular, Jordyn – slammed for allegedly disrespecting Islam as the girls donned full Abaya gear, although the threesome’s travels likewise proved a talking point as the novel coronavirus saw Jordyn forced to stay in Abu Dhabi when she wanted to fly home.
As Jordyn told fans, COVID-19 had thrown her plans to jet back to the U.S. into chaos.
“The first available flight for us isn’t for a couple of days so I’m taking full advantage & enjoying this view,” she wrote.
Jordyn seemed to make the best of the extended stay, then shopping at luxury jeweler Cartier.
Following her return Stateside, Jordyn took to Instagram in selfie mode to speak about the coronavirus, saying that it didn’t “feel right having such a platform and not speaking up on the current situation.”
“This sh*t is real,” Woods continued, then saying that coronavirus doesn’t discriminate – the model then spoke of the anxiety the virus was bringing up for her before focusing on mental health and asking people to be “kind” and “reach out to one another” in hard times.
