Ashley Graham is never shy about showcasing the labor of feeding her son, Isaac, on social media, but this time, she showed just how intense the little man's hunger can be! Posting a video on her Instagram Story while quarantining, the 32-year-old model turned the camera on herself while breastfeeding her first child with husband Justin Ervin. Instructing her nearly 11 million followers to turn the "sound on," Ashley Graham showed her fans just how intense her baby's suction can be.
Showing herself in bed while feeding her three-month-old, the Sports Illustrated model unapologetically hiked up her pink sweatshirt to reveal herself sweetly feeding her son, and boy, was he hungry! This isn't the first time that Ashley Graham has proudly shown fans herself breastfeeding her child. Posting the intimate moment between mom and son just weeks after giving birth, she shared the very first snap of Isaac showing him feeding while her husband looked on as she nursed away. Writing an emotional caption to match the sweet moment, Ashley Graham wrote, “Now we’re family forever."
While no one took issue with her breastfeeding coverage in the beginning, many critiqued her after she continued to post revealing shots. Some even wondered if she was "desperate for attention" after the model fed her son at a restaurant while drinking coffee and joked, "☕️&?." As The Blast reported, Ashley Graham and her husband of nearly a decade welcomed their first child together on January 18 but waited to share the news for weeks and revealed it was an at-home birth.
Introducing Isaac to the world in two black and white photos showing their newborn grabbing on to each of his parents' fingers, Ashley Graham explained the love she felt immediately after giving birth naturally at home. "At 6:00PM on 01/18/2020, we welcomed 7lbs 5oz of love into our world,” she captioned the two snaps. “Meeting our son has made our hearts incredibly full and we can’t wait to introduce him to you." Days before, she had her husband and son on her podcast as her special guests and almost broke down when describing the moment Justin Ervin helped her through the birth when she wanted to give up. "Seeing you with tears in your eyes and saying 'I can see his head,' gave me so much strength to just push him out. I really needed that," she said with tears in her eyes while adding that giving birth is "magical" but "intense."
