Khloe Kardashian Reveals She Had Emergency Operation On Face Tumor

Khloe Kardashian is explaining the mysterious bandage on her face.
While many thought it might be more of a cosmetic procedure bandage, Khloe revealed it was much more serious and scarier than that.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, October 11, the mother-of-two explained the reason for the face bandage.
Khloe Explains The Mysterious Bandage On Her Face
Khloe started out by sharing a photo collage of her face with the bandage on it.
She wrote, “I have seen numerous stories going around about the ever-evolving bandage on my face, with some of you wondering why I’ve been wearing it on my cheek for the past few weeks.”
Khloe explained that she noticed a small, raised bump on her face that she initially thought was as minor as a zit; however, after it had not disappeared in seven months, she decided to get it biopsied.

“Dermatologist Dr. Tess Mauricio examined it, and a second biopsy was ran by Dr. Dan Behroozan because what they both were seeing was incredibly rare for someone my age,” she explained. “A few days later I was told I need to have an immediate operation to remove a tumor from my face. I called none other than Dr. Garth Fischer, a dear friend of my families and one of the best surgeons in Beverly Hills who I knew would take incredible care of my face.”
The Bump Ended Up Being A Tumor
Dr. Fischer was able to “get everything- all my margins appear clear and now we are onto the healing process. So, here we are… you’ll continue to see my bandages and when I’m allowed, you’ll probably see a scar (and an indention in my cheek from the tumor being removed).”
Khloe used this vulnerable moment for a better purpose.
“PS I am ONLY sharing this story with you so I can remind everyone to get checked, frequently. At 19 years old, I had melanoma on my back, and I had a surgery to remove that as well, so I am pre-composed to melanomas,” her Story continued. “Even those who are not, we should be checking all the time. I am someone who wears sunscreen every single day, religiously so no one is exempt from these things. Please take this seriously and do regular self-exams as well as your annual checkups.”

She also reminded her millions of followers that everyone you meet is fighting a fight, so be kind and do not judge them.
One fan on Twitter praised Khloe for sharing her tumor story writing, “Kudos to Khloe Kardashian for using the tabloid-bait moment about the bandage on her face as a reminder to everyone to take these types of dermatological scares seriously!!!”
Khloe retweeted it with four red heart emojis.

The reality TV star was spotted wearing a massive skin-toned bandage on her face while out at a roller rink with her sisters.
On Wednesday, September 7, Kim, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie and Khloe were spotted at the Moonlight Roller Skating Rink.
They most likely were filming something for their Hulu show, “The Kardashians.”
Koko wore a baggy black hoodie, sweats and slides for the outing.
While the outfit was super understated, fans couldn’t help but notice a very obvious bandage on her face.
The flesh-toned dressing was obviously covering up something she had done to her face.
Many took to Reddit to express concerns for the 38-year-old.
“A biopsy by her dermatologist…” one person wrote.
“Did she have a mole?” another wrote on Reddit.
