Is Halsey Officially Single?

Are Halsey and Evan Peters calling it quits? Please, not another beloved power couple. From the adorable coordinated outfits, to the sweet Instagram flirtations, these two don't seem like they would have any problems. With both of them coming from allegedly toxic relationships, wouldn't they understand how important it is not to become alike to the partners of their pasts. Being in the limelight even when your union is a positive one can be unhealthy beyond measure. All of that unnecessary pressure placed on what's going on between two individuals has to be too much.

Although Halsey does receive criticism over her being regarded as “fake woke”, she still remains a pop sensation. From her undeniable beauty to intelligence, Halsey was born to be a star. At times it appears as if she's the one who gets in her own way. With more commitment and less involvement in superficial drama, Halsey has the potential to be a new age mega star. Right now she's kind of mediocre and a stand still with her well deserved success.

What seems to be a constant in Halsey’s life is her erratic relationships. What is quite perplexing especially for female singers is this double standard surrounding using personal experience as inspiration for their music. Admittedly everyone warned Halsey over collaborating with then-boyfriend G Eazy, on the song “Him and I”, since stereotypically things like that present as a bad omen. A kin to getting a tattoo of your significant other on your body, it's just not wise. But, hey who cares if it doesn't bother the person who's done it.

As for Evan Peters and his love life pre Halsey, well it hasn't been cookies and cream. In fact it's been more like cigars and smoke. Evan Peters and his relationship with Emma Roberts was rumored to be quite a tempestuous one. With alleged high strung arguments and even having the police called, it was best for each of them to cut the umbilical cord, and get the hell away from one another. Holding onto something like that can only bring resentment.

Although this might sound ridiculous, it could be a plausible reason. People are genuinely affected by the Coronavirus. Daily life isn't functioning like it was just a mere month ago. That could be putting stress on not only their own individual careers, but also their mental health. Could they have been spending a lot of time together during quarantine? Or, not enough? Well, if there isn't a public message placed out for the world to see, there's definitely going to be a song.
