This season on ’90 Day Fiancé,’ we’ve seen a very dramatic story line by 52-year-old Lisa Hamme from Pennsylvania and 30-year-old Usman Umar from Nigeria. Usman is a very popular rapper in his home country as he goes by the stage name “SojaBoy.” (No, it’s not the Soulja Boy known for his 2007 breakout hit single “Crank That.”) Lisa shows much jealousy and insecurities from the beginning as she hates Usman interacting with women, especially by putting them in music videos.
On last night’s episode, Lisa continued to show her insecurity when she went out with Usman and a close friend of his in the music industry. Usman mentioned how his video director took the model out of his music video due to Lisa hating that the song dedicated to her had this woman in it. This is also after the director voiced his frustration regarding this situation. Usman’s friend asked Lisa if she’s trying to destroy his music career and and she completely lost it.
Usman also recently went on Instagram Live where a fan asked about rumors regarding if he was bisexual or not. The exact question was “When you say you like both men and women, do you mean you’re bisexual?” The Nigerian music star replied “If that is the accurate answer YES.”
On ’90 Day Fiancé’ though, Usman has not shown any signs of being interested in many man. He has made it known that he’s all for Lisa so far despite her attitude.
On Instagram, Usman currently has 28,400 followers. On the show, he revealed that he wants to take his music career to the next level in the United States as well. Many viewers wonder if this will be worth it though considering what he’d have to deal with with Lisa. He’s already a star in Nigeria and taking the gamble in America which includes may be too risky. Lisa is currently on Instagram with the user name @baby_girl_lisa_2020. She has 18,800 followers.
Lisa looks like she wants to remain under the radar right now as the account is set to private. This is supposedly a new account she made as well. She and Usman originally met on Facebook as he ended up proposing to her on a video chat.
“About nine months into the relationship, Usman had called me on video, and he said, ‘Baby love, will you marry me?’ I was like, ‘What did you just say?’ He said, ‘Will you marry me?’ I said, ‘I’m accepting your proposal under the stipulation that it’s temporary because I want it to be in person.’”
We will see how their relationship continues to unfold as last night, Lisa’s trip to Nigeria wasn’t off to the best start. ’90 Day Fiancé’ airs every Sunday night at 8pm ET.
