To those who have just learned that Scarlett Johansson has a twin brother, I am right there with you. The movie actress has a strong following of fans that enjoy watching her on the big screen. In current days she is widely recognized as Marvels Black Widow. It may be shocking to learn that the actress has a twin brother and the reason why you may not have not known this fact is because her brother did not follow her footsteps in becoming an actor.

Scarlett Johansson was born into a family that was more on the creative artsy side. She had dual citizenship with the United States and Denmark, her father was an architect while her mother was a producer. Since Johansson was younger she had a passion for theatre, singing and dancing. She would often showcase her skills for her family to see, just as any young child would do for their family. Her parents suggested that she pursue her talent and audition for commercials.

By the time Scarlett Johansson was 10 she was already appearing in on stage productions. She had starred in a few movies but her first major role was in 1998 film The Horse Whisperer. It did not take long for movie critics to see the potential in the young actress and she has proven that throughout the years. She had became a widely-known actress within the film industry. The Lucy actress comes from a rather large family with multiple siblings. She had a total of 6 siblings both younger and older than her. The actress's twin brother is name Hunter and she is just a few minutes older than him. Once Scarlett Johansson began acting her twin had even starred in a movie with her called Manny & Lo. It is clear that Hunter did not continue his acting career along with his twin sister but went down a different path.

Hunter has had a successful career as a political activist while also participating in campaigns for politicians. So instead of living off of his movie star twin sister Hunter decided to make a meaningful impact on the masses in his own way.
