Kaia Gerber Parades Around L.A In Tight Yoga Pants Despite State-Ordered Lock-Down

Kaia Gerber's ability to both social distance and do what objectively appears to be the opposite has proven a headline-maker this weekend. The 18-year-old model and daughter to Cindy Crawford has fronted media outlets on account of her coronavirus social distancing TikTok video with "13 Reasons Why" actor Tommy Dorfman – then again, even the newspaper snapping the model on Saturday couldn't help but remark that her duo outing with the Netflix star was part of her "fair share of social interaction."

The state of California is currently under a stay-at-home order placed by Governor Gavin Newsom, with some 40 million state inhabitants adjusting to life in quarantine.

Photos obtained by The Daily Mail this weekend showed Kaia out and about with Netflix star and BFF Tommy. The two weren't exactly in a group, but such headlines have been made by Kaia going grocery shopping with Cara Delevingne, Ashley Benson, and Tommy last week – Kaia was, however, spotted grabbing Clorox wipes while wearing latex gloves.

The most recent images showed the model rocking tight black yoga pants showing off her super-slim legs, plus a "Rollling Stone" hoodie, beanie, and shades as she walked her dog.

Kaia does seem to have struck up a wonderful friendship with Tommy, who is both openly gay and identifies as non-binary. January saw Kaia split from 26-year-old SNL comedian Pete Davidson, although headlines in early 2020 were already being made as Kaia hung out with Tommy and "Queer Eye" star Antoni Porowski.

A joint bikini selfie also showed off the pair's growing bond, but this weekend's headlines were more about Kaia being seen in public. The Daily Mail stressed the need for "recommended social distancing and isolation" as it reported the duo's outing.

To be fair, Kaia and Tommy have been sticking indoors a fair amount, but that's not how social distancing works. Hopefully, neither are carrying COVID-19, although by now if they were, symptoms would likely have manifested.

Comments left to The Daily Mail included major set of trolls, but even those less-harsh were pointing out the pubic situation. Some might say unfairly-so.

"Walking around LA is not exactly isolating is it?" one user wrote.

"She is hardly self-isolating unless she lives with all of these people she's been hanging out with," another added.

The list of famous faces now confirming they've tested positive for coronavirus keeps on rising. First, came 63-year-old actor Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson. The two have been released from their Australia hospital, but remain in isolation.

Also confirmed positive are NBA faces including Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, and Kevin Durant, two "Game of Thrones" stars, "Bond" girl Olga Kurylenko, plus British actor Idris Elba. Just recently, "Bachelor" alum Colton Underwood revealed that he'd tested positive, with media personality Andy Cohen doing the same.
