Gomez gets extremely candid in the doc trailer sharing a sentiment that many people her age are concerned about “being okay with where I am” and not comparing herself any longer to her peers.

The actress shares her diagnosis of depression, anxiety, lupus, and a mental breakdown, she explores how it made her a different person. She promised herself “I am going to stop living like this," she says. Gomez explores thoughts like “how do I learn to breathe my own breath again?"

Some of Gomez’s friends and family also appear in the doc and reveal how dire the situation is. “If anyone saw what I saw, they wouldn’t have recognized her,” shares a friend.

The trailer shows Gomez reflecting on work and how she was forced into a career that she may not have chosen for herself later in life. “Like my whole life since I was a kid I’ve been working and I don’t want to be like super famous,” she admits but seeing as she is, “I have to use that for good”.

Shockingly enough Gomez shares a meal with her friends in the trailer and over dinner admits that she has never felt good enough. This is something deep-rooted that she is working on and the doc is a way for her to share with her fans.
