The Duggar Family is not your typical, normal American family. No… the matriarch and patriarch of this family, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar do things very different than the rest of us.
Like, they have rules that their children must follow. Really strange rules. They’re not allowed to kiss or hold hands, in fact any and all physical contact is limited during their “courtship” phase. They must have a chaperone, they monitor all calls and emails. It’s almost like we’ve stepped back in time to the Victorian era; show no ankle, ensure you’re buttoned all the way… Very odd. Very strange.
However, fans still enjoy watching the Duggar family today.
The Duggars, most of the kids are grown and married with children. So why do fans think that Jinger Duggar, the fourth daughter and aged 26 years old, is a bad mother to her daughter, Felicity Nicole Vuolo?
The couple, Jeremy Vuolo and Jinger Duggar, wed in 2016 after they courted for a few months. The wedding happened, then they moved to Laredo, Texas because Vuolo worked as a pastor. These two did not have children immediately as most of the Duggar children choose to do. They waited, and did not welcome their first daughter until July 2018. They have yet to have another child.
This seems to be off-putting to fans since Duggars seem to pop out children one right after the other.
Fans are asking the question: “Is Jinger Duggar happy in her marriage?” They believe Vuolo is arrogant, and that there is tension in the couple’s relationship. Duggar was placed into an extremely modern life than the one she grew up in, and fans think this may make it difficult to adapt.
There has never been confirmation that the couple does not love one another, and that their relationship is not going well. Social media implies it is, and that’s the only way to see into their marriage.
Fans have been questioning Duggar’s happiness since she was little, and have speculated she’s battled with mental health issues all of her life. Fans aren’t certain marriage was her choice, and that she doesn’t seem to be happier in marriage.

Another user added: “I agree with Jinger being at the bottom. She only ever looks happy when doing something fun in LA….basically when being a “normal” 20-something from a small town discovering a big city for the first time. I think she’s over Books and was never really into Felicity. Poor kid, I can’t imagine having human tofu for a mother!”
While the fans may believe Jinger is not happy, as far as we know, she is. There is no direct evidence, other than what people are saying they notice about Jinger Duggar, her husband and the way they treat their child.
There’s no harm coming to this child, that we know of. And no harm to either parent. Therefore it’s safe to say she’s happy; although we may not ever know how happy she is or is not. And really, how happy we think she is will be how she portrays herself on social media.
