The actor recently sat down for an interview with the Adam Corolla Podcastwhere he shared that while Deadpool 3 is moving forward, he is certainly not in it. He worked on the first two films with Reynolds playing Weasel, Deadpool’s bestie.

“I got along with him a lot better on the first Deadpool because he wasn’t a huge, huge movie star,” he claims. “Would I work with him again? No, I would not work with him again,” he insists.

He went on to describe Reynolds, 45 as “kind of an insecure dude,”  and thought that it’s “weird that he hates me.”

Ryan Reynolds And T.J. Miller Had A Weird Interaction

The Silicone Valley star told Corolla a bazaar behind-the-scenes story about an interaction that he had with the father of three.

“We had a really weird moment on ‘Deadpool’ where he said, ‘Let’s do one more take.’ And then, as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I’m Weasel. So he was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition so that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie,’” Miller alleges.

It “not a great experience for me” Miller alleges. The vibe on set was tarnished as well he claims, insisting that no one on set that day knew what to make of the incident.

Miller made it clear that he wasn’t asked back to play Weasel in Deadpool 3 but if he has been asked, it would have been a hard 'no' for him.

“I would not have done Deadpool 3 if they came to me and were like, ‘We want you to do Deadpool 3, and we’re going to pay you twice as much,’” he claims. However, he does want Reynolds to continue to make the popular film franchise. “I think [Reynolds] should make a ‘Deadpool 3’ and continue to make movies.”

However, he knows one thing for sure, Reynolds is not a fan of him and expressed it in a way that was odd. “I just think he doesn’t like me, and I thought it was weird how he expressed that. I’m at a place in my life where I don’t need to do Deadpool 3.’”

Miller just had to say exactly what was on his mind before peace-ing out from the podcast, even if it sounded like an unintentional dig. He doesn’t believe in playing the same role “for more than five years,” so even if they asked him to return, it would have been an automatic ‘NO’.

That’s just his work ethic, ya, know?

Regardless of the drama, Miller seems to have no hate for Reynolds, he’s just simply telling an odd story that happened to him at work that just happen to include someone really famous.
