Kelly Ripa is still leading the way when it comes to Instagram humor. The 49-year-old talk show queen has proven fairly off-kilter with her social media updates since the novel coronavirus picked up in the U.S. – last week saw the "Live! With Kelly and Ryan" host offer a shirtless pool throwback of husband Mark Consuelos, literally to give everyone else something to look at other than "hand sanitizer."

Kelly updated her Instagram stories on Saturday. She didn't show her face, choosing instead to give everyone a good chuckle via a short caption as she showcased some Clorox wipes.

Kelly's photo simply showed a package of Clorox disinfecting wipes. "Kills 99.9% of Viruses & Bacteria" on the front has likely taken on a whole new meaning for anyone purchasing the product – if you're one to scrub the kitchen counters clean for fear of bacteria, you've likely switched your priorities over to viruses with COVID-19.

"Hello lover....," Kelly wrote, also adding: "This.is.Porn."

The former "All My Children" actress and her "Riverdale" star husband have, however, been doing more than just throwing out the lols on social media. They've dug deep.

Kelly and 48-year-old husband Mark made headlines at the end of last week for donating $1 million to coronavirus relief efforts. A source reporting to People stated that the power couple had pledged the funds, which will be allocated (in part) to the New York Governor's Office – purchases of "urgently needed ventilators" were listed, alongside the WIN organization, which is running 11 women's shelters across New York City.

The global death toll for coronavirus hit a sobering 10,000 on Friday, but the figure has since shot up to over 13,000.

Kelly proved particularly popular on March 12 with her throwback photo of Mark as he flaunted his shirtless and chiseled abs while floating in a swimming pool – the snapshot dated back to the couple's 2019 Puglia, Italy vacation. A caption from the blonde had jokingly referred to COVID-19:

"#tbt Last summer in Puglia. Something to look at other than that bottle of hand sanitizer ??????," she had written.

Following the throwback, Kelly posted a video of social distancing done "Italian style," with the footage showing traditional, narrow Italian streets and its quarantined citizens singing to music. Italy's death toll has now overtaken China's, with the European country proving the worst hit with over 4,800 deaths.
