Steve Martin took his banjo out in the woods and played an impromptu concert, which the comedian shared with the world on Twitter, and everyone agrees this is exactly what we needed to calm our nerves during these uncertain times.
Martin posted the video on Twitter, with the simple caption, “Banjo balm.”
In the clip, the comedian is seen rocking shades and comfy sweatpants, and it appears it could be out in his backyard somewhere…
You have to hear how good his in at strumming this thing, and how much better you will feel after he is done!
Fans of the comedian LOVE the video he just shared with the world, and some are having physical reactions to how good it is!
“I literally cried watching Steve Martin playing the banjo and I can’t quite explain why,” one person tweeted.
Another added, “This is the right way for celebrities to show how they are handling this s***.
A flurry of celebrities and musicians are sharing their talents on social media, despite not being able to have concerts. Pauly D, Camila Cabello, and others are sharing their talents.
“One of my favorite thing happening in this awful time is the amount of artists sharing their talents with us to help us through. This was amazing!” a fan tweeted.
For some reason, this video feels like exactly what we needed while quarantined inside of our homes, and others agreed.
“So great thank you! And thank you for just playing a great tune while in the pretty woods and not making it a political gotcha tone-deaf moment. We need peace now not hate. Everyone is trying to do their best in an unprecedented time no person or government could prepare for…” someone wrote.
Another said, “Not only is he a great comedian, but a serious banjo artist. Thank you. Please sir, may we have some more?”
We agree, a daily video of Steve playing the banjo would be great!
