Heather Rae Young Gears Up For 1st Wedding Anniversary With Tarek El Moussa

Fans are aware that it is almost a year since Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young tied the knot in a beautiful Montecito ceremony at the Rosewood Miramar Beach. And ahead of the celebration on October 23, Heather showed her fans just how geared up she is in her anniversary mode with a lovely post on the gram.

Taking to Instagram, the 35-year-old posted a stunning picture of herself in a long pink one-handed frilly dress with a thigh-high slit. The lovely dress, made by the LA-based fashion designer, ILA, appeared backless as her skin close to her bosom was revealed.

Heather paired the outfit with magnificent-looking shoes, a matching sparkly purse, and simple jewelry comprising bangles on both hands. The picture was taken in a hallway with black and white walls, one of which she posed close to, holding her baby bump.

"Wearing the exact heels I wore on the day of my wedding," the "Flipping El Moussas" star wrote in the caption, adding, "which is extra special because this month is our anniversary month." She then ended the post by asking rhetorically, "Who would've thought a year later I'd be posing in my wedding heels holding my baby bump???"

Heather's beautiful appearance did not go unnoticed by her followers, including her husband, who showered her with praising remarks. Among the commenters were several stars like Ashley Marie Kelsey, Tina Louise, musician Roy Orbison Jr., and "Selling Sunset" star Davina Potratz.

The pregnant star's pre-anniversary post will certainly jog fans' memories about the El Moussas' six-month wedding anniversary in April, which she marked using a heartwarming Instagram post. The Blast reported the event, including Heather's beautiful words alongside previously unseen footage from their wedding day. In the caption, she wrote:

"Never seen before moments from the best day of my life… officially a wifey, 6 months married to my love, and i fall more in love with you every day!"

She appreciated Tarek for making her feel like a princess daily and waltzing through her life while revealing that they always wanted to kiss each other, especially when they were not meant to. In concluding the caption, the "Selling Sunset" star expressed her forever love for her spouse after openly hinting that they kiss a thousand times a day.

Given that the lovebirds were joined in matrimony on October 23, 2021, they could not help but make it a permanent detail by inking it on their skin, brazenly showcasing their passion. The Blast shared that Heather revealed the new art on Instagram using two black and white photos of her tattoo: "10.23.2021."

In the first slide, she and Tarek's inner arm with their wedding date inks were shown, while the second was a snap of their hands clasped together with her husband's tattoo showing her initials, "HEM."

The HGTV star also flaunted his new wedding date tattoo on the gram alongside two other dates representing the days his kids, Taylor and Brayden, were born. The dates were all special to him, and while he initially planned to get only their wedding date tattoo, he ended up including Heather's initials and his children's birthdays.  

Not every fan was taken with the artistic expression of affection; however, some could relate as they took to the comments to recount tales of their wedding anniversaries.

As for Tarek's new tattoo unveiling, he went back in time, recalling his first tattoo, done more than two decades prior, which was "so bad" he promised himself never to get another.

Nevertheless, he broke his oath with the wedding date inks but was not at all comparable to his first ink, "an all-black crooked tribal" on his back. The "Flip or Flop" star described the new art as "something extremely meaningful" that felt different but will always be cherished.
