Miranda Lambert just proved that social distancing doesn't have to be done in slouchy sweats. The 36-year-old country singer now joins the slew of celebrities social distancing (and encouraging others to do so) as the novel coronavirus continues to sweep the globe.

A sobering milestone was reached at the end of the week – 10,000 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded worldwide, although that has figure has now shot up to over 12,000. Miranda's latest Instagram update reminded fans that she's smoking hot, but it likewise delivered a message surrounding the deadly virus.

Miranda's Saturday Instagram photo showed her shot outdoors and on a porch backed by white-painted brick and greenery. The blonde was looking a total knockout, seen posing in a tight denim mini skirt with country accents from criss-cross fabrics – a white and striped shirt was also worn knotted around the waist for a sexy finish.

Miranda posed shooting the camera direct gaze and slight smile, also rocking a green detail necklace, plus her bombshell blonde hair worn down and cascading around her shoulders.

After all, businesses being hit hard are including celeb ones. Miranda took to her caption, opening with a mention of COVID-19.

"I wanted to let you know I am thinking about y’all. I hope you’re all good and taking care of yourself, and your family and friends. I’m doing my part to social distance with my pups keeping me company," she wrote.

"We’re going to continue to share our new @idyllwind spring stuff. I hope you don’t mind, but it makes us feel happy and a little bit normal. Stay safe, follow @idyllwind, #ShareSomeLove. Love, M," Lambert added.

Miranda's post brought in plenty of fans, although early replies to the ex to Blake Shelton's post proved more-geared towards the coronavirus than the Idyllwind by Miranda Lambert brand she runs.

"Happy you have your pups and other critters:) stay safe," one fan wrote.

"Love you Miranda❤️ Take care of yourself and your Pups❤️," another said.

"???I love you Miranda you're awesome" was a third reply.

Miranda isn't the only country star to have mentioned coronavirus on social media. 37-year-old country singer Carrie Underwood encouraged fans to use the stay-at-home time to finally get into shape – the message came via the "Cry Pretty" singer's Fit52 app accompanying her new "Find Your Path" book.

The world proved taken aback earlier this month as 63-year-old actor Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson confirmed they had tested positive for coronavirus in Australia – both have since been released from hospital.

Also having revealed they've tested positive are NBA stars including Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and Christian Wood, two "Game of Thrones" stars, plus British actor Idris Elba, "Bond" girl Olga Kurylenko, media personality Andy Cohen, and "Bachelor" alum Colton Underwood.

Meanwhile, celebrities including Miley Cyrus and Kylie Jenner have been pleading with fans to both social distance and stop panic buying groceries.
