Wilmer Valderrama Is Engaged: Here’s What You Should Know About His Model Fiancée

That '70s Showactor Wilmer Valderrama got engaged to his girlfriend, Amanda Pacheco on December 21, 2019.

The couple announced their engagement on New Year’s Day via social media. The actor shared a picture of him down on one knee popping the question with the caption: “‘It's just us now’ 01-01-2020.” Pacheco shared the same image and caption on her Instagram.

The couple, who’ve been dating since May 2019, has been vocal about their romance. Take a look at their Instagram feeds and you’ll see how in love they are!

But, who exactly is Amanda Pacheco?

Amanda, 29, is a PADI divemaster. Which means, she’s licensed to lead scuba diving excursions. How adventures!

It’s clear from Pachecho’s Instagram, she loves the outdoors. According to her bio, “I belong deep in the sea or high in the trees where things are wild&free.”

Pacheco’s feed is filled with editorial shots on the beach. Which leads us to her other job. In addition to being a divemaster, Amanda is also a model. She’s signed with Stars Management, Scout Models in L.A. and San Francisco, and Caroline Gleason in Miami.

Amanda was born in California to Tracy Morgan and Armando Pacheco. Her mother, Tracy, died days before Amanda’s 24th birthday from ovarian cancer. Amanda wished her mother a happy birthday in February with the caption:

“Every time I talk about him, I can see your giant smile light up in my mind, and I can hear your mischievous laugh, like you knew he was going to come into my life and change it forever. I have faith in an everlasting love, I believe in marriage and alll the things I was terrified to do without you HERE, like start a family without your guidance every step of the way,” she began.

She concluded, “Thank you for always making me feel your radiant energy everywhere I go. Happy birthday Momma I miss you deeply.”

Demi and Wilmer dated from 2010 to 2016. Although Wilmer’s dated Lindsay Lohan and Mandy Moore, his relationship with Lovato was the most publicized. Naturally, it was a shock when the pair went their separate ways.

Demi discussed the reason for their breakup in her Simply Complicated documentary.

“There are issues that I haven’t conquered yet that I know I won’t conquer if I’m relying on somebody else to take care of the loneliness. That was one of the reasons why we broke up, because I’ve never been alone. It had nothing to do with falling out of love. We decided together we just probably are better as friends," she explained.

But even though they broke up, the pair still have a close relationship. All Demi wants is for Wilmer to be happy, so she fully supports his relationship with Amanda.

“There is still love there for sure, but Demi fully supports him and his engagement to Amanda. She just wants what’s best for him and for the both of them to be happy,” a source toldUs Weekly.

So, it looks like things are drama-free. And while we don’t know when Wilmer and Amanda will be walking down the aisle, we hope it happens sooner rather than later.
