Kaley Cuoco didn't need to mention the novel coronavirus by name in her weekend Instagram story – the "Big Bang Theory" actress' photo of former co-star Jim Parsons in character as Sheldon Cooper said it all.

Kaley, 34, has mostly been updating her social media from the $12 million Hidden Hills estate she and billionaire heir husband Karl Cook have just moved into – while content there has seen the couple discuss Amazon delivery limits and a grocery store trip showed a freakout over almond milk, this snap kept Kaley out of it. In fact, it jokingly reminded the world that the ultra-paranoid and OCD Sheldon Cooper was keeping himself sanitized and safe long before COVID-19 existed.

Kaley's story showed a still from a "BBT" scene. Sheldon was seen in the kitchen and spraying the air from an aerosol can while hiding both his nose and mouth under the gray t-shirt that had been pulled up to the middle of his face.

The man whose triple-knocking, couch "spot" and overall meticulous attitude gripped an entire generation now seems to be particularly appropriate as millions begin a new life paying attention to hygiene and social distancing.

"Sheldon had it right all along," Kaley wrote, then tagging Parsons and telling him: "I miss you like crazy."

Kaley's approach to coronavirus has made headlines. Shortly after moving into their new mansion, Kaley and equestrian husband Karl hit up a local grocery store – semi-bare shelves were already seeing this 2018-married couple face the panic buyers that you've likely encountered.

Kaley had suggested the couple stocks up on almond milk – Kaley is now both the new face of Starbucks and a coffee queen over on her "A Cup of Cuoco" Instagram series – but Karl was chill. The produce aisle was "totally full," therefore there was no need for concern, with Kaley proving exasperated as a result.

For the girl who near-lives in nightgowns, the news that online retail giant Amazon was blocking stock on non-essential items proved too much. A bed-shot selfie video of Kaley saw her reveal her thoughts.

"Ok now I'm hearing that Amazon is only going to be shipping essential items," she said, then wondering how she was going to manage without the company shipping her the sleepwear she so relies on.

"Does that mean I can't order random stuff that doesn't make sense, like nightgowns?!" she asked Karl.

"Your essentials are different than other people's essentials" was the simple reply from Karl.

Production on Kaley's upcoming HBO Max series "The Flight Attendant" is on hold on account of coronavirus. While we've yet to see Kaley take on her new role, the star has revealed what she'll miss the most about playing her Penny character on "BBT."

"You know, she’s iconic. She’s the best character I’ve ever played. She has every single quality. She’s funny, she’s [silly and] I’m sill, she’s sarcastic. She loves Leonard and she loves these guys and she’s a real girl. You know, we’ve tackled a lot of issues this year. Her even not wanting to have kids and her wanting to be a businesswoman," Kaley told She Knows, adding:

"I don’t think we’ve seen that a lot in television. I was really impressed that they went that path and yeah, she’s a reason why I’m doing everything that I do in the future will be sent back to Big Bang."
