Scheana Shay knows that many are having a hard time right now in light of the quarantine, but she's begging her fans to stop asking her for money on Venmo because she's broke too. The "Vanderpump Rules" star, who is one of the only OGs still waitressing on the show, took to Twitter on Friday to ask her followers to stop with the Venmo requests because "I'm not rich." Scheana Shay revealed she too is struggling and her family is helping her while she's bunkered down at home for the next month.

For those of you unfamiliar with California's Coronavirus update, the state's governor announced a "safer at home" emergency order on Thursday night ending all nonessential business until April 19. This basically means if you don't work at a grocery store, gas station, pharmacy, food delivery service, or from home, then you're out of work for more than one month. Since Sheana Shay still works at Lisa Vanderpump's Sur restaurant in Beverly Hills, she's in the same boat as many Californians. Taking to Twitter, the reality star pleaded with her followers to stop asking her for cash because she doesn't have it.
"This is a crazy time!" Scheana Shay acknowledged, before continuing, "But PLEASE you guys, stop asking me for $ on
@venmo. It makes me feel terrible reading your stories of why you need $$ and I am not rich!" Saying that she supports her family and she has "a ton of friends in the same situation right now," the "Vanderpump Rules" star added that she wished she could help everyone in need "but I can’t." She then turned the focus on her family, including her mom and dad.
"My dad is still doing hard labor working full time during this pandemic," she tweeted. "My mom does more than I could ever ask her for and who the hell wouldn’t want their mom to be able to help them full time w work." Scheana Shay ended her plea by writing, "PLEASE stop asking me for $$. I can not afford to save the ?." The single star has had a rough few weeks. Besides her job being affected due to the pandemic, her cousin is still missing and this is day 24.
