Noah Cyrus knocked the camera dead for her latest shoot – the 20-year-old sister to superstar singer Miley Cyrus has just dropped new music, with her Thursday night Instagram update dedicated to announcing both its release and accompanying music video.
Noah went denim girl in the hay for her summer 2019 "July" release. The singer kept the outdoorsy vibe for "I GOT SO HIGH THAT I SAW JESUS," but the setting was an aquatic one – the breath-taking Instagram update promoting the track has also be racking up all kinds of likes.

Noah's update showed her single cover, with the brunette looking ethereal and goddess-like as she posed semi-submerged in river waters and backed by wild grass banks. The "Lonely" singer had opted out of her trademark sexy poses, instead flaunting her ripped torso and toned shoulders in a web-like and ripped cream dress that was minimal – the finish was classy, though.
Standing in the water with her head thrown back and her arms behind her, Noah looked upwards – "I GOT SO HIGH THAT I SAW JESUS" appeared in text either side of the singer.

A caption from Noah mentioned that the song had been written some time ago, also mentioning it taking on new meanings – coronavirus was then mentioned (although not by name) as the star wished everyone safety and health.
"I Got So High That I Saw Jesus is out now. wrote this song with my best bud PJ @thiefofficial months ago but it has taken on a number of other messages, now more than ever. we all need to come and stay together and support one another.. stay safe, stay healthy, stay positive. It’s all gonna be ok ? video coming tomorrow 3/20 9am PST," Noah wrote.

Noah's update definitely didn't go unnoticed. Over 260,000 likes were left by the time the sun rose on Friday, with the comments section overflowing.
The most-liked comment came from 27-year-old sister and "SHE IS COMING" singer Miley.
"Body," Miley wrote.
"My inspiration. Wish we could get high together," a fan said.
The thumbs-up comments poured in steadily, with Noah herself then taking to the comments section.
"I'm bad at commenting back individually to ppl but I love you guys so much and thank you for all the love I hope you like it and i hope it brings you guys peace in some way," she wrote.

The run-up to the release of "I GOT SO HIGH THAT I SAW JESUS" saw Noah profiled by Evening Standard. Speaking of her highly-publicized anxiety – Noah frequently opens up on her mental health – the singer said:
"Because the public judgment does hurt me so much and I really wish it didn’t. I’d ask for everyone to be kind-hearted. You don’t have to like my music, but don’t tell me to drink bleach in my comments. So I didn’t know if I was gonna be capable of doing this, but I am — barely.”
