Kris Jenner Advises Young Women As She Marks New Forbes Accolade

Kris Jenner is a boundary-breaker who made Forbes' second annual "50 Over 50" list.

The list honors women who found unimaginable success and even redefined what it means to age by landing their most outstanding achievements after turning 50. To celebrate her win, Jenner, a first-time listee, shared some words on marble for young women who wanted more from their lives.

From being a flight attendant in the '70s to becoming one of Hollywood's most influential and famous "momager" — a term she coined — Jenner seems to have done it all. The matriarch, who married her former husband, Robert Kardashian, welcomed her first four children — Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob -- between 1979 and 1987. 

After their divorce in 1991, Jenner walked down the aisle with Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn, welcoming daughters Kendall and Kylie. Her journey to her current status began when she pitched and filmed the first season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" at 51.

The show not launched her family to fame but also provided them the means to start several multi-million dollar businesses, including Kim's Skims shapewear brand and Kylie Cosmetics. For her role as momager, Jenner's kids pay her a ten percent cut from the monies they earn from their businesses, modeling, and licensing deals.

It is no wonder her net worth is estimated to be $230 million, landing her spot on Forbes' 2022 list. Celebrating the milestone, Jenner took to Instagram to share a screenshot of her profile and advice for younger women. After appreciating the global media company for giving her the "incredible honor," the mother-of-six wrote:

"I am beyond grateful to be featured among so many phenomenal women in business who I deeply respect and admire. I love what I do, and to be in a position to inspire other women, particularly young women, to pursue their own successes and passions is a true blessing. Always stay focused on your goals and your dreams. Work hard and believe in yourself! Anything is possible, ladies."

Although she hid the number of likes the post received, it was not hard to see how excited her fans were about the win. While one person called her a "LEGEND," another gushed that Jenner was "the most beautiful and intelligent in the world."

A third fan dropped love emojis and noted, "women need to inspire woman [sic]. I admire you so much. You are a strong, organized woman." A fourth person claimed their goal was to be as "iconic" as Jenner and a fifth added, "Kris don't deserve forbes. Forbes deserved Kris." Others dropped a string of love, fire, champagne bottles, and flutes emojis. 

Late last month, The Blast highlighted how Jenner's uber wealth influenced her memory regarding the properties she owns. During the launch of Hulu's "The Kardashians" second season, the reality star claimed to have forgotten about her Beverly Hills condo — and the alcohol and frozen food-filled fridge in it.

To be fair, the last time Jenner visited the condo was sometime before Christmas 2021. During a confessional on the episode, the 66-year-old said, "Here's the thing; I have a condo and my mom has one and my cousin has one. And we all live nearby. I kind of forgot it was there. That sounds ridiculous, doesn't it." 

She and her third daughter, Khloe, visited the apartment, where they went through the fridge and discovered numerous bottles of champagne, water, and what appeared to be a bottle of balsamic vinegar inside. Meanwhile, the freezer contained frozen foods, glasses, frozen dinners, and plastic bags labeled "do not eat." 

Upon seeing the limitless champagne bottles in the fridge, Khloe asked her mom if she was okay. Jenner responded that she was good and the bottles were there "in case of an emergency." The mother-daughter duo then cleaned and threw out the two-year-old food stash in the freezer.

After that, Jenner joked about throwing the trash bag down from the upper-level condo so they could pick it up when they got downstairs. However, the socialite ended up handing the bags to someone outside the front door, asking them to either find a trash chute or take it down to the trash.
