Britney Spears Fans Call Out Sam Asghari Over NSFW Posting Drama

Iranian actor Sam Asghari is posting about the ongoing fight for women's rights in Iran and totally ignoring his wife's NSFW drama.
While he was compiling a video of people showing support for Iranian women, his wife, pop star Britney Spears, was making headlines with a series of NSFW photos and videos on her Instagram page... and fans weren't too happy about it.
Sam Asghari Posts About Iran During Britney Spears' NSFW Posting Spree: 'Help Your Wife First'
In the Instagram video uploaded on Wednesday night, the Iranian actor attempted to put a spotlight on the unjust killing of Mahsa Amini by featuring a video collection of people from around the world saying “Azadi for Iran.” The word “Azadi” means “freedom” or “liberty.”
Although some people echoed the phrase in the comments, others asked Sam why he wasn’t addressing the NSFW photos his wife was posting on her own page. Although users had previously defended Britney baring it all on nude beaches, it looked like everyone was wearing clothes in the background, prompting concern that she was wearing her birthday suit on a public beach.
“I utterly and completely understand your worry and compassion for Iran. But can you please post about Britney’s freedom? A few of [us] are concerned you may be part of the conservatorship,” one user commented. “Help your wife first,” another follower wrote. “Have you seen your [wife's] pictures🤦🏻♀️,” a third user chimed in. “What about your wife? Naked all over IG. Her poor [sons] have to see that. ...... Classless,” another follower added.
“You are supporting Iran 👏 while Brit is showing her v-- on the beach 🤦♀️why isn't she supporting you, to reach more ppl?” another follower asked while yet another user commented, “Same time Brittany posted a naked photo while Iranian are fighting against obligatory head scarf hijab!🤦🏻♀️😭.” Another user made the comparison that “An American woman has the freedom to even pose nude if she wants but an Iranian woman will get killed for showing a few strands of hair.”
However, Sam has previously weighed in on Britney's NSFW snaps earlier this summer and felt that they were just an expression of her freedom after her stifling 13-year conservatorship.
Sam Asghari Calls Britney Spears’ NSFW Snaps 'Harmless'
In his Instagram Stories earlier this summer, Sam Asghari fired back at Kevin Federline, Britney's ex-husband and father of her two teenage sons.
In an August 2022 interview with the Daily Mail, K-Fed alleged that Britney’s two sons are purposely avoiding her because of her NSFW Instagram photos and videos. However, the 28-year-old actor insisted that "most kids are embarrassed of their parents," especially as teenagers, calling Britney's online behavior "harmless."
“Even if there was truth to her kids being ashamed of their [mother's] choices and positive body image they wouldn’t be the 1st teenagers [embarrassed] of their parents,” he wrote at the time. “Most kids are embarrassed of their parents at one point. The mere presence of a parent can humiliate a teenager.”
“It’s so common it has been a storyline used over and over on TV and in Films for decades,” he continued. “Eventually if not already they will realize their [mother's] choices are harmless and an expression of newly found freedom. There is nothing to be [embarrassed] about just lots of things to be proud of.”
Britney Says 'I Cut All My Hair Off' In New Topless Post
However, it does not seem like all fans quite agree with that. On Tuesday, the “Oops!...I Did It Again” singer posted a video on Instagram that showed her rolling around on the beach completely topless. In the caption, she wrote, “I cut all my hair off … I don’t want to show it yet ✂️✂️✂️!!!”
“I’m old enough to remember the last time this happened lmao,” one fan commented, referring to the time when Britney shaved her head in 2007, before she met Sam Asghari on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video in 2016.
As The Sun reported, in the 2019 documentary, "Britney Spears - Breaking Point," tattooist Emily Wynee-Hughes, who reportedly worked at the Body and Soul Tattoo studio at the time of the incident, revealed what Britney told her about why she wanted to cut off all of her hair.
"I noticed her hair was gone," Emily said in the documentary. "I remember asking her, 'why did you shave your head?' And her answer was a bit weird. It was, you know, 'I just don't want anybody, anybody touching my head. I don't want anyone touching my hair. I'm sick of people touching my hair.'"
Emily said that no one on her team tried to intervene, adding: "It just didn't seem like they cared very much. I've felt this insane sense of anxiety and energy that felt so negative. It just seemed like everybody was waiting for the crash to happen."
Many fans are hoping that Britney will be able to receive the help that she needs to heal, especially now that she is free of her conservatorship.
