Post Malone Pays Homage To Daughter, Tattoos Initials On His Face

Post Malone is memorializing his daughter in the sweetest way possible!

The new dad recently got his daughter's initials tattooed on his forehead and continues to showcase an outpouring of love for his baby girl. The "Rockstar" rapper initially announced that he welcomed a baby girl with his unidentified girlfriend back in June.

His good friend, Chad Rowe, had the privilege of inking the initials on the "Sunflower" singer's face.

Malone's tattoo artist took to Instagram on Monday to post a picture, showing off his artistic talent and the outstanding work he carried out in delivering the rapper's request.

The photo featured the star lying on a chair, wearing a light blue t-shirt, with his head laid back and eyes closed. The rapper's face was near the camera, and quite evident was the new tattoo that Rowe had just imprinted on Malone's forehead, which read "DDP."

The new inking is assumed to be the initials of his daughter's name, which he hasn't revealed since welcoming her. Captioning the post, Rowe wrote, "I'm so blessed to not just have a once in a lifetime opportunity, but to have a lifetime of opportunities. And to share it with my favorite people. To all of the posty crew and family, and to all the people who truly make dreams come true, from my entire heart. Thank you, I love you all. #redemption #postmalone."

Per TMZ, this selfless act by the "Goodbyes" singer was his way of declaring his love for his baby girl. It was also gathered that the star got the new piece backstage after his Indianapolis show on Sunday night. It would seem Rowe was with him during his show. 

The papa bear's heartwarming tattoo comes after he showered praises on his new baby girl and gave insight into how fatherhood has been treating him.

As The Blast previously reported, Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, disclosed that his daughter is already smashing it in the style department. He described her outfit as amazing. In his words, "She's so swaggy," adding that her wardrobe has been stacked with cool fits. 

"We got her overalls, Real tree Camo everything, some nice hoodies, some zip-ups," the rapper said. Gushing over his little one, he added, "She's so cool. She's way cooler than me, but she took a little inspiration from me."

The 27-year-old songwriter, who recently collaborated with the outwear brand "Moose Knuckle" for a collection of coats, hinted that he intends on working to find a fit that would perfectly suit his daughter since she can't wear any of the items in the children's section. 

The rapper finished off his statement, saying, "Everybody should be able to be drippy and somewhat bussing, you know what I mean?"  

As for how fatherhood has been for him, the nine-time Grammy nominee answered, "It is great. It’s really tough not being able to see her, but she’s coming out more often now. She’s huge, she’s super tall, and she’s such a legend, and I’m just happy to see her. But it is heartbreaking having to leave and not be able to be with her all the time."

Malone has surely proven to be a lover of tattoos. He has tons of tattoos scattered across his entire body. 

According to Page Six, the "I Like You" singer previously said in the past that his likeness for facial inkings stemmed from his lack of confidence in his appearance. And getting them served as a confidence boost. It would seem the tattoos have finally served their purpose because some of his fans are curious to know the meaning behind some of his cool tats.

The famous "Always Tired" face tattoo scribbled on both of his under eyes serves as a cheeky replacement for concealer after a long time.

Another notable inking is the "Stay Away" tattoo located above his right eye is a warning for anyone who might try to get too close to the superstar. This particular tattoo was inspired by the late Lil Peep, who had "CryBaby" inked in the same spot.

Unfortunately, after Lil Peep died from a drug overdose in 2017, Malone tattooed the rapper's portrait that also featured the "CryBaby" tattoo on his arm.

Finally, the barbed wire drawing inscribed across the musician's forehead doesn't represent any significant explanation. Malone only got it because he thinks barbed wire is "cool."
