Thylane Blondeau has been dubbed the world's "most beautiful" girl. The 18-year-old French model is a major sensation over in Europe, although with her rising Instagram following and 2019 Model of the Year win at Cosmopolitan, she's finding her name circulating over in the U.S.

Thylane has been marking the coronavirus pandemic over on her Instagram – four days ago, the brunette posted a snap of herself wearing a camo face mask. While that shot concealed the star's stunning face, her Wednesday update didn't.

Thylane's update showed two photos – the first, in particular, showcased the beauty that's been a headline-maker ever since the model was cherry-picked by French designer Jean Paul Gaultier aged just 4.

Thylane's post was a simple one as she posed looking into the camera with a cocked head, wet brown hair, and her slim figure outfitted in a spaghetti-strap white top and dark sweatpants. A chain necklace added a little bling, but the for the most part, the vibe was low-key – similar manifested in the next image showing the Aix-en-Provence native hugging her knees and wearing a baseball cap.

Thylane's update quickly proved popular – while the model only has 3.5 million Instagram followers, engagement is high on her account. Over 73,000 likes were left in the space of two hours, with the comments section quickly filling up.

"Cutie," one fan wrote.

"Sheeesh!" another wrote.

Mentions of the coronavirus were, however, made. Thylane lives in France, where cases now sit at over 7,700 with 175 recorded deaths. "Stay safe," one fan told Thylane.

Thylane had wished her followers safety in her mask post: "STAY SAFE!!! Stay calm Breathe & wash ur hands!! sending love to everyone!!" she wrote.

Thylane's rising profile has seen her interviewed. When interviewed by L'Officiel with Unliad translating the feature, Thylane admitted to not acknowledging her status.

"Firstly: I do not consider myself the most beautiful girl in the world! When I was little, people always told me. But I did not even understand what they meant. Because who says that? Who says I am the most beautiful?" she replied, also adding that she is "shy."

The star's softer side is definitely visible on her Instagram, where a recent photo showed Thylane napping amid soft toys.
