Although it is commonplace to see Blue Ivy Carter alongside her parents at a variety of public gatherings, its infinitely more rare to catch the mega-famous couple out and about with their twins, Rumi and Sir. Since their birth the performer parents have been indescribably secretive with the children, and mand have questioned why they're so protective over their younger children and less so with Blue. Now, it appears there is a concise reason as to why they've kept the young pair hidden for so long.

Although Beyoncé and Jay-Z are seen in public pretty frequently, they too have notoriously kept intrinsic details of their personal lives out of the public eye. Although the couple can't change the fact that they are some of the most famous people on earth, they adamantly work towards providing a normal childhood for Blue, 8, and Rumi and Sir, both 2. This is why they've opted to keep the younger two of the three so out of the public eye since their birth in 2017.

A source told HollywoodLife back in 2019 some key details about how Beyoncé and Jay-Z operate when it comes to raising their young children, which is with intense care and scrutiny.
"She [Beyoncé] tries her best to keep life as normal for her children. She was instrumental in choosing schools for Blue to attend and made sure to choose the most private school she could find so that Blue could just be a normal child in preschool like all children her age."
However, aside from a post commemorating the twin's one month of age to Instagram, the two have rarely been photographed out and about with their parents by paparazzi. This is very unlike their older sister Blue, who was highly photographed in public at the same age.
Fans shouldn't expect that to change any time soon either, as it appears that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have made it clear that they will be raising their children mostly away from the public eye for the forseeable future.

Expect the same kind of upbringing and life for the twins as Blue when it comes to privacy, being involved and being a mom,” the 'HollywoodLife' source further commented.
“Beyoncé won’t change a thing about how they will be raised. You always learn things to do or not to do with your second baby, but her kids’ privacy and raising them normal is something very important to her, no matter which child it is. She wants the best for all of her children," the source concluded.
