Rapper and Songwriter Post Malone recently opened up in an interview about enjoying fatherhood and his new family life.
The Singer excitedly raved about his daughter's stylish attributes as the proud father indicated that she is smashing it in the style department at only four months old.
Malone and his unidentified fiancée welcomed their daughter back in May. However, the "Circles" artist announced the birth in June while making an appearance on Sirius XM's "The Howard Stern Show."
Post Malone Proudly Sings The Praises Of His Daughter
The 27-year-old singer is over the moon after the birth of his daughter. He appeared to still be basking in the joy that comes with becoming a new dad and continued to gush about his precious daughter. The rapper chatted away about how parenting had been for him so far and shared adorable moments he has had with his cute baby girl, per ET.
Malone revealed that his baby is already killing it in the style department. "She's so swaggy," he said. He also disclosed that her wardrobe had been filled with cool outfits. He said, "We got her overalls, Realtree camo everything, some nice hoodies, some zip-ups." Malone then mentioned:
"She's so cool. She's way cooler than me, but she took a little inspiration from me."
Speaking of clothes and style, the "Congratulations" singer recently collaborated with the outerwear brand "Moose Knuckle" for a collection of coats. Although his sweet daughter can't wear any of the items in the children's section, the star hinted that he's working on finding something that would fit her perfectly.
In his words, "I'm trying to get a size for her -- she's a little bit too tiny, but she'll grow into it," referring to a design for his daughter. "Everybody should be able to be drippy and somewhat bussing, you know what I mean?" he concluded.
Although the famous rapper earlier announced that he was expecting a child in May, Malone took the Internet by storm after he revealed that his now-fiancée had safely given birth. The Blast shared that the "Cooped Up" rapper while discussing his upcoming album and other activities in his life, in an interview, randomly disclosed about the newest addition to his family.
When he was asked a question about the time he woke up to go to the recording studio, Malone said, "I woke up at 2:30 in the afternoon and went and kissed my baby girl and played some video games."
This response caught the host by surprise, who in turn interrupted the star's narration and asked if he was referring to his girlfriend as "baby girl." Malone calmly answered, "no, that's my daughter."
The anchor, who was visibly caught off guard by the exciting news, told the "Goodbyes" singer, "That's been on the QT [quiet] though? We didn't know you had a daughter, right? You keep all that quiet."
The 10-time Billboard Music Award winner, however, explained why he kept the news a secret from the public. According to him, he wanted his loved ones to make "their own decisions" about such a huge announcement.
While trying to get a clearer picture of the whole situation, the curious host asked about the dynamics of being a new father alongside being a partner to his girlfriend. The star then clarified that he was now engaged to the mother of his child.
Malone Credits Finacée For Help With Battling His Addiction
In another part of his Howard Stern interview, the "Psycho" rapper revealed that his finacée helped him overcome his alcohol addiction. Per The Blast, Malone said that she made him feel human again and saved his life. In his words:
"I met a really beautiful person that made me feel like a human being again. It's the guidance out of the dark into the light… she saved my f–king life – it's pretty epic."
According to the rapper, the cause of his substance abuse was low self-esteem, but he had learned to handle that. He also recalled a time in his life when he was unhappy and felt like he "sucked." Although, now he just aspires to be a better person with each passing day. "All we can do is just don't be a d–k head, that's the golden rule," he concluded.
