What You Need to Know About Emma Stone's Secretive Wedding

Emma Stone is quite the comical Hollywood starlet. She's brightened the screen with her wonderful smile since she was a teenager, starring in films such as Easy A, Superbad, The House Bunny, and The Amazing Spider-Man. Stone is such a talented actor that she's won both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. And, according to Variety, she was the highest-paid actress in 2017.

But, it's not her acting we're here to talk about. Let's see who Emma Stone is marrying and what there wedding might look like.

This talented actress is engaged to none other than Saturday Night Live writer and producer Dave McCary. How do we know? Well, McCary announced their engagement in December 2019 in an Instagram post that really shows of the bride-to-be's new engagement ring.

The couple met in 2016 when Stone hosted Saturday Night Live. From there, their relationship went on to be confirmed in October 2017. Now, they're engaged. So, when's the wedding anyway? It's been tough to decipher since the couple has been so secretive about the details.

So, the answer to the "when" is "soon." That's all we're able to get, but it's rumored that "soon" is approaching quickly. Page Six reported that the wedding was in "the coming weeks" as of March 6. Which means we shouldn't have to wait another year or anything.

Now, we move on to the "where." As far as we know, the couple is getting married in LA. They went to great lengths to hide the exact location, including sending out invitations that didn't include anything more specific than the city.

It turns out, according to Vogue, that Jennifer Lawrence has been helping the couple protect her wedding's privacy in the same was she did for her own wedding in October 2019. So, a lot of information is speculation at this point.

As far as guests, we're assuming McCary's SNL folks will probably attend. From Emma's side, we might get Adele, the Olsens, Jennifer Lawrence, and Sienna Miller since Stone has attended their weddings.

On top of that, we can probably expect a vegetarian or vegan menu. The couple is eco-conscious and both share vegan/vegetarian lifestyles. But, that's about all we've got for now.

Stone explains during an interview with Elle magazine from 2018 that she's grown into the idea of having kids. Here's what she said:

"My perspective about kids has changed as I've gotten older. I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I'm never getting married, I'm never having kids. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids."

So, it looks like there might be little McCary-Stone kids smiling in the spotlight before too long if everything goes to plan. Good luck, you two.
