Over the weekend, the reality star announced her decision to no longer feature their son on social media while ranting about how the ongoing custody battle is affecting her mentally.

Christina Hall Breaks Silence On Ant Anstead's Custody Battle

On Sunday afternoon, the "Flip Or Flop" star took to her Instagram to formally address the situation going on with her ex-husband. She shared a selfie of her in the car with a frustrated look on her face and a giant pair of sunglasses. Her jewelry was kept to a minimum, and her makeup mild.

"I am mentally exhausted over the recent false accusations against me," Hall began her lengthy, vulnerable caption. "Hudson’s father has made attempts to turn my family, friends, and fans against me through manipulation tactics and false information."

The real estate investor confided in her 1.8 million followers that her ex-husband's accusations have had a "great impact" on her and her family, and as a result, she has decided to "no longer feature Hudson on Instagram, my tv shows, or any social platforms until he is old enough to make this decision for himself."

The mother-of-three explained her decision, writing, "I have always been fine not having Hudson appear on public platforms and have made that clear. My only reason for wanting him to appear on my shows has always been to participate in the fun activities/outings with our family/siblings."

However, her intention has been misunderstood by the "Wheelers Dealers" co-host, who she claims uses her Instagram posts to rate what kind of parent she is to their 3-year-old because that is the only access he has to her personal life.

"This has been the case since July 2020," the 39-year-old lamented. "This is unnecessary pressure for a platform that is supposed to be used to share moments chosen rather than a judgement tool…especially since this is a very small fraction of my personal life."

Nevertheless, the television personality assured that Hudson's joy as a child wouldn't be dampened by his absence on social media. She concluded the candid post, thanking her fans. "Thank you to all the people who can see beyond the nonsense being thrown at me. I am and will ALWAYS remain a protective mother. ❤️"

Although the comments on the post were limited, Hall received an outpouring of love from fans and colleagues. One comment read, "you are an awesome mom, and it is evident in how happy ALL your kids are. Dogs included!!"

One fan asked, "So he can post him, but you can’t…the person who carried him, fed him, changed, prayed over him?," while another added, "If Hudson’s dad was intelligent, he would be kind to the Mother of his son. Mothers deserve to be treated well so they can nurture their children.."

Hall Slammed Anstead For 'Fishing For Endorsements' With Son

Although this is the first time the HGTV host has publicly addressed her ongoing custody battle with the English television presenter, she has slammed his accusations in court. As The Blast previously reported, Hall clapped back at Anstead in a court declaration, refuting all of her ex-husband's claims.

"The allegation that I am ‘exploiting’ our son is truly offensive and simply untrue. After seeing what Ant has written in his Supplemental Declaration, it is clear that his motivation is not Hudson’s best interest," the document read. Hall insisted she had never "exploited' their son, as he has made a few appearances in her ads.

She noted that Hudson's appearances in her adverts took less than five minutes to film, and none of them were forced — strictly organic, fun moments.  The California native, however, pointed fingers at her ex-husband, claiming he was the one who actually exploited their toddler.

"Anyone experienced in social media will recognize Ant’s pattern of posting our son using a product and tagging the product manufacturer as ‘fishing’ for endorsements. Ant is not currently on television and puts a lot of effort into Instagram since that is his only platform."

The 'For The Love Of Cars' Co-host Wants Legal Custody Of Son

Hall's recent clap backs against her ex-husband come days after the Plymouth native asked a divorce court in Orange County, Ca to give him legal custody of their 3-year-old son, so he could control how exposed Hudson was to reality television and social media.

In the exclusive court documents obtained by The Blast, the 43-year-old challenged Hall's parenting, saying, "Christina has already exploited Hudson in numerous paid promotions on social media. I fear she also has footage of him, to be used in one of her ‘reality’ TV shows, without my knowledge or consent, and continues to film him despite my objections."

He continued, "I do not believe it is in Hudson’s best interests to be exploited as a “spokesperson, ambassador” or as a “model” for any products or social media campaigns. I would choose to turn down requests for Hudson to be used in such ads. We should preserve Hudson’s right to choose for himself in the future."

Anstead expressed worry about the risks of being a child star in Hollywood while demanding sole legal custody of Hudson. Anstead and Hall were married for almost three years before calling it quits in 2021.
