Fans just got to look at the casting table for Euphoria, but HBO has delayed production of Euphoria Season 2 due to COVID-19 panic across the globe. The website also cited suspended production on Season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones, and all HBO Max series, which includes Kaley Cuoco-led thriller, The Flight Attendant.
It's sad so many great shows are being postponed, but we know they'll be back once everything dies down and it's safer.
WarnerMedia Entertainment released this statement, Friday afternoon:
“In response to the global emergency related to COVID-19, we are working closely with our creative teams to assess the status of each of our series in accordance with the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as local health and government officials. We will suspend production on some of our series currently filming and will delay those scheduled to start imminently. The health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is our number one priority.”
March 11, Zendaya and Angus Cloud star in an Instagram photo on the Euphoria account. They were at a table-read, and it seemed to indicate that production was underway.

The caption read: "Here we go!!!!!!", and the HBO official account read: "It's all happening," in a comment.
Euphoria is just one of many television shows, movies and concerts are also being cancelled or delayed as well. While COVID-19 isn't extremely deadly, it can be to people in risk groups, or to somebody who just catches it really badly. In order to give people less of a chance of catching it, things are shutting down, which even includes Hollywood.
Better for everyone, really.

Other shows affected are: Netflix's Strange Things Season 4, ABC's Grey's Anatomy and The Bachelorette. Apple TV has also shut down a few shows, one of those being The Morning Show. The CW has shut down Riverdale, and more. Huge television shows are being affected, not just small relatively unknown shows.

And don't worry about whether your show will be coming back; unless something drastic happens, it should be.

And like I said, the Big Screen is shut down too. No Time To Die, the newest James Bond. Quiet Place Part: II, and others. Musicians have cancelled festivals and tours, some of those are Madonna, Ciara, Mariah Carey. And one festival locally where I'm at is Merle Fest.
As of March 13, there were 1,600 cases of COVID-19 in the US, and at least 124,000 globally. Friday the United States was declared to be under a national emergency alert, and $50 billion in federal resources was released to combat the illness.
