Serena Williams is self-isolating, but she isn’t hiding her jaw-dropping body. The 38-year-old tennis superstar made headlines last week for announcing that she’s going into self-isolation for 6 weeks – the former world no.1 is staying behind closed doors as she does her best to avoid contracting the novel coronavirus.
Serena may have admitted to feeling “useless” on Saturday as she revealed not having worked out or even having changed her clothes, but one thing’s still going strong – promo for the star’s Serena clothing line.
A new photo of Serena was posted to her clothing line’s Instagram on Friday. It showed the 23-time Grand Slam winner knocking the camera dead in a bombshell shot as she posed in the Jamilla Shirred Midi Dress in Natural Giraffe – the dress retails for $89.
Serena posed in profile as she modeled the skin-tight number, flaunting her rock-hard legs, toned arms, and that super-curvy booty. A snazzy pair of strappy heeled sandals elongated Serena’s legs, while blondish-red hair and warming makeup added a glowing finish.
Serena took to Instagram a few days ago to let her followers know that her COVID-19 avoidance will now see her staying home. A makeup video was the delivery, but the words from Serena suggested life would include more than just getting glammed-up at home.
“Spending the next 6 weeks in solitude. Being a wife. Being a mom. Cooking. Cleaning. Spring cleaning. Face mask. Makeup tutorials. I’ll let you know how it goes…. stay safe everyone. This is serious. ??,” she wrote.
Saturday brought fresh stories from Serena as she spoke into the camera while letting her fans know how the self-isolation is going.
“So I got no spring cleaning done, um, I didn’t cook, I didn’t work out,” Serena said as she wore a white top with a matching baseball cap. “Um, honestly in fact, I haven’t even changed clothes,” she continued, before stating that she was going to start her day.
Vowing not to have another “useless” day – although Serena did state that sometimes, useless is okay – the sister to Venus Williams stated she’d be “immediately going back to working out tomorrow.” The star’s giant shoe closet was also shared. Serena will be “attacking” it.
Coronavirus has officially hit the celebrity world. 63-year-old actor Tom Hanks and Wife Rita Wilson made global headlines last week for confirming they have tested positive for COVID-19 – in an Instagram statement, the “Cast Away” actor wrote:
“Hello, folks. @ritawilson and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive,” adding:
“Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?”
Utah Jazz stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert are also confirmed positive.
