People around the world have been preparing to combat the global pandemic known as the Coronavirus — properly referred to as COVID-19. Celebrities like Queen Elizabeth II and sports industries are shutting down major events to try to protect themselves from the highly contagious superflu.
Of course, the Kardashian and Jenner family has shared their take on the issue. And let’s just say, fans aren’t happy about any of it. Debate and criticism just seems to follow this family no matter what they do.
Kylie Jenner sparked controversy when she posed in her Kylie Cosmetics headquarters with her finger in her mouth. In the Instagram photo, Kylie kicks back in a chair with her feet up on a table. She rests her finger in her mouth and glances at the camera.
People were not amused with Kylie’s photo, as the CDC has recommended frequent washing of hands and avoiding touching the face to try to mitigate the spread of the virus. Some thought this was proof of Kylie being tone-deaf.
Kim Kardashian West — and by extension Kourtney Kardashian — angered a lot of people after Kim posted a message on Twitter sent in the Kardashian/Jenner group chat by big sister Kourtney.
The message contained a screenshot of a different post that shares an image of a page taken out of a book written by supposed psychic Sylvia Brown in 2008. The chapter claims that a respiratory illness would become a major issue in the year 2020 but would quickly disappear, returning ten years later and then leaving for good. Critics blasted the reality TV stars for sharing misinformation about the virus during a difficult time.

Though the stars of _Keeping Up With The Kardashians have made many upset with what seems to be a rather carefree attitude regarding the Coronavirus, it would appear they are finally starting to understand the gravity of the pandemic.
In a recent Snapchat, Kourt posted a photo from her bed in which she promised not to leave her comfy spot. The image depicted a movie playing on a TV over a lit fireplace. Kourt asked her fans for film suggestions while she’s locked indoors.
Many, many people around the globe have been affected by this pandemic, celebrities included. Beloved couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are currently being quarantined in Australia after they both tested positive for the virus.
Charles Barkley has also tested positive for COVID-19. Barkley was a very recent guest on Stephen Colbert’s late-night show before the staff was temporarily sent home. Heidi Klum seems to fear that she also has contracted Coronavirus, but has been completely unable to access a test.
