If you have been watching the Duggar family before Counting On, you may have seen some of the family's more conservative views on display on 19 Kids and Counting. In one episode, it becomes clear the Duggars do not dance to music. Seemingly, this is part of the family's religious beliefs.
Not only do the Duggars avoid secular music, but they also avoid mainstream films and television shows. They have always dressed very conservatively, with women wearing skirts that cover their knees.
In recent years, some of these rules seem to be changing.
Jinger Duggar has shown several signs of rebelling against her family's strict rules. She wears pants and moved to Los Angeles with husband Jeremy Vuolo.
Most recently, Jinger may have broken family traditions regarding dancing. The Duggars are apparently not allowed to dance because dancing to a beat can be sensual and tempting to others. Of course, this does not explain why small children would be banned from dancing to innocent music. Apparently, Jinger does not carry the same belief as her parents.

In a new Instagram story, Jinger posted a video of daughter Felicity with the caption, "You can't just sit still for baby shark."
Some followers were happy to see that Felicity was listening to secular children's music, and they took it as a sign that she would be able to grow up without the restrictions of that her mother's siblings did. Will Jinger allow Felicity to watch TV, listen to music, dance, and perhaps even attend public school like cousin Israel?

Of course, there are also plenty of others who have been more skeptical of Jinger's intentions. Is she trying to save face with potential sponsors? Is she trying to show that she and Jeremy are more mainstream than the rest of the Duggars so they can avoid having their gigs yanked out from under them?
One Reddit user said, "It seems a little convenient that Jinger has her staged on the carpet that she just lost the sponsorship for because of her beliefs."

Recently, Jinger has struggled to get sponsorships as a social media influencer in Los Angeles. Followers believe she has lost at least three sponsorships based on the stringent beliefs of the Duggar family. Is Jinger trying to change the public perception of her and Jeremey?
Followers are skeptical regarding why Jinger would post the video of Felicity dancing if not to distance herself from the rest of the Duggars. One question remains: is it all for show or is it genuine?
