Khloe Kardashian: 'Shame On Me' Regarding Tristan Thompson Proposal

The shock bombs just keep on coming with Khloe Kardashian.

Following Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians” on Hulu, fans found out about Khloe and Tristan Thompson’s steps towards getting married.

The NBA player allegedly proposed in December 2020, and rumors about their engagement swirled following photos she posted to Instagram.

Buzzfeed reports that he proposed in December 2019 when they were not officially together.

Khloe initially didn’t accept Tristan’s proposal, because she didn’t feel “proud” to tell her family.

During September 28th’s episode, Kim and Khloe are having a heart-to-heart, and the SKIMS creator dropped the bombshell.

The content filmed took place in February of this year, two months after Tristan welcomed a child with another woman.

“The fact that he proposed and you never told us…” Kim said. “I’ll never forget Tristan called me. He was going to propose to her on Valentine’s Day (2021) which was like a year since they had drama. So, this was last Valentine’s Day.”

When she didn’t get a call from Khloe or Tristan following Valentine’s Day 2021, Kim called the basketball player and asked what was going on.

“I was like ‘Hey, I never heard anything from Khloé … did you propose?!’” Kim recalled their conversation. “And he was like, ‘Oh, yeah, I did in December.’”

Khloe explained she wasn’t “comfortable accepting this [engagement] right now, because I’m not excited to tell my family.”

“I said, ‘I need to make sure that this is a totally different relationship because I wanna be proud to say I’m engaged to anyone!’” she recalled telling Tristan. “And that’s why I said, ‘You know, I’m not comfortable accepting this right now, because I’m not excited to tell my family.’”

It seems things for Khloe changed because she reportedly accepted his proposal in February 2021. She kept it a secret.

It’s unclear if she accepted the Valentine’s Day 2021 proposal or if the proposal happened days or weeks after February 14, 2021.

An insider told Buzzfeed that Koko secretly accepted his proposal one month before he cheated on her with Maralee Nichols and subsequently got her pregnant.

“It’s super draining, you don’t deserve this,” Kim told her sister.

During a confessional, Khloe explained how she and Tristan had been together for six years and they grew to be best friends.

Despite all of his cheating scandals, Khloe couldn’t just “un-love” Tristan at the drop of a hat.

“Shame on me almost. I know better and I didn’t do better,” she said before adding she had hope and faith in Tristan and their relationship.

Buzzfeed also reported that they were still engaged when Khloe found out about his paternity scandal involving Nichols.

Everything for Tristan and Khloe came to a fiery crash and burn in November 2020 when Nichols sued the NBA player in the state of California.

She claimed they had sexual relations in March 2021 following his 30th birthday and that is when she got pregnant.

Tristan counter-sued in the state of Texas in hopes of having to pay less in child support. A judge threw out his case, and a paternity test later proved he WAS the father.

Nichols gave birth to their son, Theo, in December 2021.
