Jinger Duggar has recently been accused of carefully curating her Instagram feed with staged content. That could explain why the reality star took nearly two weeks to post one very carefully posed photo from her recent visit to Arkansas. Jinger visited her home state at the end of February but photos of the trip didn’t surface until March 11th. Her siblings wasted no time in sharing their sweet memories of the trip and posted photos soon after their visit with their sister.
The Duggar family is frequently in the public eye for their large family size and unique culture. The Duggars are expected to adhere to strict rules about their conduct, clothing and more. Jinger has caused a stir by bucking many of her family’s rules in favor of a more modern and casual form of Christianity. Jinger is the only adult Duggar child to move far away from her family in Arkansas. There’s been a lot of tension between her and her family because of her liestyle.
Despite any awkwardness over her modern ways, Jinger still loves spending time with her family. She recently returned to Arkansas to visit them. It seems she may have only spent time with her siblings and not her parents. While on her visit she played a nostalgic game of broomball with her brother and enjoyed a day of shopping and dining out with her sister, sisters in law and some of the youngest Duggars. It took quite a while before photos of her trip made their way to her social media accounts.
Jinger’s sisters wasted no time in posting photos of the February 2020 visit. Jessa posted a photo of the visits while she was out shopping with her sister Jinger as well as her sisters in law Anna and Abbie. The photo also included several of their little ones too. Brother Jedidiah got in on the Instagram fun too. He posted a photo of himself with Jinger on the ice at a skating rink The two were playing broom ball together.
Nearly two weeks after Jinger visited her family back in Arkansas photos from her trip finally hit her Instagram. Jinger shared a single photo from the trip in which she posed with sisters Joy-Anna, Jessa, Jill, and Jana. The caption for the sweet family portrait read: “Though we live hundreds of miles apart, these girls will always be close to my heart. Thankful to God for sisters and sweet times together!”. Why did she wait so long and share only one photo?
Many have taken note that Jinger rarely posts photos of herself with her parents. This visit was no exception. There is suspicion that the Duggar may be distancing herself from her parents’ brand in order to capitalize on her Instagram presence. If Jinger is hoping to attract brands she’ll need to carefully curate her feed. Many of her followers have pointed out her staged content before. She was recently criticized after posting a video of her daughter running in front of her.
