Michael Strahan Accuses Ex-Wife Of Abusing Their Twin Daughters, Demands Primary Custody

Michael Strahan is accusing his ex-wife Jean Strahan of abusing their teenage daughters and wants her custody stripped.
According to reports, the ex-NFL star is back in court battling his ex over their twin daughters, Sophia and Isabella. In newly filed court documents, Michael claims Jean is physically and emotionally abusing their kids and wants the court to award him primary custody.
He claims Jean has exhibited a "pattern of abusive conduct towards the children for years" and will detail it all to the court in private. He accuses his ex-wife of being a bad parent by not taking their kids to court-ordered therapy or making it to their volleyball games or horse-riding events.
Michael currently has visitation rights and the girls live with their mother in North Carolina. He is asking the court to award him primary custody and his kids move to New York to live with him. Jean is asking the court to keep the custody arrangement the same.

As The Blast previously reported, Michael and Jean have been battling it out in court for over a year. Before the custody issue, Jean was fighting for $500,000 in support she believed to be owed.
The two were married in 1999 but ended their relationship in 2006. The divorce was nasty and ended with Jean being awarded $15.3 million and $18,000 a month in child support. The child support was decreased to $13,000 a month in 2009.

Last year, Jean went back to court accusing Michael of owing her $500,000 in support. She said he failed to cover half of their daughter’s horseback riding bills. Michael claims he never agreed to such a deal with Jean.
Jean is asking for the child support to be increased due to Michael making a ton of money with his “Good Morning America” gig, NFL hosting jobs and countless endorsement deals.
Jean wants a total of $321,654 in back child support plus $225k for the horse bill. Michael is fighting the increase for the cost of living but wants a formula they both agree on.
The battle is ongoing.
