Given the recent cheating scandal surrounding music star Adam Levine, several fans and critics took to social media in no time to opine on the matter.
And now, another infidelity matter has come to light, pointing at the Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka who has been suspended for a season for having an affair with a co-worker.
The alleged cheaters have undoubtedly been a trending topic of multiple conversations in the industry, including one on "The Big Podcast," where veteran basketballer Shaquille O'Neil speaks on the matter.
Shaquille O'Neil Believes Adam Levine And Ime Udoka Are Going Through A Lot
According to an Instagram video from The Shade Room, O'Neil was interviewed by the famed Nischelle Turner alongside Spice Adams regarding the cheating scandals involving Levine and Udoka. Turner said:
"First we had our friend, my celebrity crush Adam Levine, he got in front of his stuff. Then the next day, now, we have Ime Udoka and the situation going on in Boston."
O'Neil made it clear that he planned on minding his business as he stated that he would have to withdraw from the convo before admitting that he was a "serial cheater." He added that it would be "crazy" and "blasphemous" for him to speak out, which he could not do as he knew the alleged cheaters "personally" and believed they were experiencing difficulties just like he did.
The post's caption revealed more of what the sports analyst said, including his wish that "certain parties" were not involved. He further mentioned, "I've known Nia Long for a long time; I like her. I've known Adam for a long time, and they're going through a lot of family stuff."
Fans are aware that Nia Long is Udoka's fiancée who recently broke her silence regarding her man's infidelity, using a statement of appreciation for the love and support she was shown. The Blast reported that her release came after The NBA Celtics announced that their head coach had been suspended from the team for violating "team policies."
As for Long's exclusive statement to PEOPLE, she shared, "The outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and the community during this difficult time means so much to me."
Although the Nigerian-American basketball coach received significant criticism after the news of his affair broke, it did not stop the outpouring of love for his partner. Nevertheless, she wanted the public to respect her privacy as she penned, "I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children."
The prominent actress shares a son with Udoka, Ke Sunday, born in 2011, while she has another boy, 21-year-old Massai Dorsey II, from her past relationship with the actor Massai Dorsey.
According to ESPN, the 45-year-old ex-basketballer may have disregarded his work rules but would possibly still return to his position as a Celtics coach after the season as the team was unlikely to take any permanent action. He has been a coach for the team since 2021, leading them to feature in the 2022 NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.
Adam Levine Says He Did Not Have An Affair But Crossed The Line
Several days before Long spoke up about her partner's affair, The Blast reported that Levine also cleared the air, denying ever having an extra-marital relationship. The music star, who is married to Victoria's Secret's model Behati Prinsloo, admitted that he used "poor judgment" in talking to anyone except his wife in "any kind of flirtatious manner."
Although he refuted claims of his alleged affair, he confessed that he "crossed the line" and allowed the convos to become improper in "certain instances." The Maroon 5 singer regretted his actions, making him reflect on how much he cared for his partner and family, who were the most important to him in the world.
He also said, "To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility."
