Kaia Gerber Sparks Fears In Strung-Out Swimsuit Selfie: 'Honey, You Don't Look Well'

Kaia Gerber has sparked a wave of worry over on her Instagram. The 18-year-old model and daughter to Cindy Crawford has been working non-stop these past weeks, even sharing photos of her blistered Paris Fashion Week feet to social media. The teen is, of course, still also making headlines after 26-year-old ex Pete Davidson opened up about their brief relationship.

Kaia updated her Instagram on Tuesday with a strung-out swimwear shot channeling her trademark off-kilter style. While the supermodel body was wowing some fans, others were concerned.

Kaia's photo showed her in selfie mode and possibly just out the shower. The brunette had snapped herself from the chest up, showing off her ultra-lithe frame in a cut-out black swimsuit with an eye-catching neck detail forming string ties. The Marc Jacobs face delivered her signature poker face, posing with wet and wild hair unbrushed as she delivered a somewhat tired-looking vibe.

Kaia offered no geo-tag or caption, simply posing against a white backdrop.

While the post netted the model over 131,000 likes in the space of an hour, comments were seeing fans worried for her wellbeing.

Remarks manifesting concern for Kaia appeared early on as users took to the comments section. While gushing replies were plentiful, those expressing worry were likewise prominent.

"Please call your daughter. She isn't looking well @cindycrawford," one fan wrote.

"@cindycrawford your daughter doesn't look ok please check in on her," another said.

"She snapped" was another comment, with one fan telling Kaia: "Sweetie you need some rest and nourishment."

"Honey you don't look well" was yet another remark, with one fan asking: "R u high?"

That said, Kaia was also praised for her flawless beauty. Fellow model Emily Ratajkowski left three heart-eye emoji.

Kaia made headlines in mid-January for ending her October 2019-commenced relationship with SNL comedian Pete Davidson. The ex to Ariana Grande recently opened up about the breakup, stating that his mental health troubles were just too much for a teen Kaia.

“We were dating for a few months, and she’s very young,” Pete said, adding:

“I’m f---ing going through a lot, and it was before I was going to rehab. She shouldn’t have to worry about some dude that just has issues, she should be enjoying her work and all that other s--t."

While some fans expressed overall concern at Kaia's overall appearance, others mentioned the star's slim frame. Kaia herself has opened up about food – much like 24-year-old model Kendall Jenner, Kaia comes with a giant appetite.

"I’m passionate about breakfast. I wake up hungry, so I always eat a bagel," she told Harper's Bazaar in 2018, adding:

"I don’t go a day without eating pasta. Penne with vodka sauce is my all-time favorite and is actually one of the things I know how to prepare myself. It’s very important to know how to make pasta because you can do it anywhere in the world. It’s easy, it’s fast, and everyone likes it."
