Lisa Rinna is celebrating her pal and fellow soap star Kelly Ripa's new book "Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories."
The talk show host continued her unfiltered tradition in her book, ripping into her "roller-coaster" ride to happiness. The release of the paperback, which delves into certain aspects of Ripa's life, triggered an excited reaction from many people, including Rinna. Thus, the "Melrose Place" star uploaded a video that showed her dancing to the tunes of Pharrell Williams' 2013 hit single, "Happy."
Lisa Rinna Puts Up Perfect Marketing Clip For Her Friend's New Book
In the clip, which was shared via Instagram, Rinna is seen in a black tank top and pink baggy bottoms. The barefoot queen kicked things off by showing just her fingers, followed by an up-close view of a copy of Ripa's book.
The "Days of Our Lives" star stepped into the camera's full view to dance excitedly with the copy of "Live Wire" in her hand. At some point, Rinna smacked her bum with the paperback before dancing to and fro in what appeared to be her backyard.
The TV personality used her caption to instruct her 3.5 million followers to purchase their copies. As expected, the reel got her fans' attention, accruing well over 200k views, 5k likes, and hundreds of comments.
One such comment gushed about how "inspiring" Rinna's "zest for life" was. One person noted how "supportive" the dark-haired star was, and another admitted that Rinna was "loyal to her friends."
Others informed the dancing queen that they had either bought their copy or were expecting it in the mail soon. These positive responses clearly indicate that "Live Wire" has solid backing from Rinna and Ripa's fans.

Ripa's intent for narrating real-live occurrences from her decades-long journey as a "Live!" co-host seems to be getting realized. During an interview with Shondaland, the actress recounted how she got the idea for writing the book. After noting how people praised her storytelling skills, the "Hope & Faith" said:
"I started writing these notes to our staff during the pandemic that were really funny, and my producers encouraged me to post some of them on my [Instagram] stories. And when I did, book editors reached out to me and said, "We would love for you to write a book."
Eventually, her editor Carrie Thornton encouraged Ripa to pen a book, prompting the actress to write one chapter — which proved Thornton's point that she had a talent. Thus began the "Dance Party USA" dancer's determination to churn out a great book.
Ripa claimed she "wrote freehand" without even setting an outline as she penned based on what was "speaking to me at the time." It is worth noting that flipping through journals, notes, and calendars helped her process.
Rinna & Ripa's Relationship Runs Deep
Ripa and Rinna's friendship has been the topic of many conversations. In July 2022, Nicki Swift ran an article that focused on the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star and "30 Rock" actress' love for each other.
Aside from the pair starting their entertainment careers in Tinseltown as soap opera stars, they were also both contending for who would host "Live!" alongside the late Regis Philbin. Sharing some of that tea during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live!" Rinna said:
"I have quite a history with 'Live!' Regis actually told me it was between me and Kelly."
Despite that snag, Ripa maintained no animosity between them because they only found out about it until later. She said, "I mean we never even saw each other. It's not like she was in one room and I was in another. It wasn't like that. It was like she would host the show, then I would host the show."
Gushing about her long-standing friendship with Rinna, Ripa stated, "I mean, I like Lisa Rinna, I've known her for so long. Because we all started out on soaps together. I really like her."
The pair love each other so much that Rinna once hinted that she wanted Ripa's son, Joaquin Antonio Consuelos, to marry one of her daughters. Whether that dream will manifest or not is yet to be seen.
