Nine months after their break up, Chrishell Stause still messes with her ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim in the silliest way!
The real estate broker recently gave an insight into his relationship with Stause post-breakup and revealed a fun tidbit about how she gets back at him for pissing her off.
The pair started dating in July 2021 and confirmed it through a romantic snap from their European getaway during the summer. However, they soon called it quits by November of the same year.
'Don't F*ck With My Algorithm!: Jason Oppenheim Tells Ex-GF Chrishell Stause
The 45-year-old real estate broker opened up his bond with Stause at "The Hollywood Reporter" 2022 "Power Broker Awards." While chatting with People Magazine, he dished on how he and the actress still periodically mess around with each other.
The reality star divulged that the "Youthful Daze" actress still uses his HBO login to watch shows. Explaining the situation, he said, "I was texting her last night jokingly because I logged on to my HBO and I saw that somebody had started this show, so I [asked] her, 'Are you still logged into my damn streaming network?'"
The media personality went on to say that he knew when the actress was angry at him. In his words, "I can tell when she's mad at me because she'll screw up where I'm at on all my shows." Adding that they joke about it.
The Oppenheim Group co-founder also jokingly complained about how Stause disrupts his show's algorithm. He said, "And also, I don't want to be recommended horror flicks because she likes horror flicks. Don't fâ with my algorithm! I know what you're doing, Chrishell. That's the biggest problem in my life right now. That's how well things are going."
Although the pair aren't together anymore and have moved on with new relationships, they seem to still maintain a healthy friendship.
The Real Estate Mogul Struggled With Hiding Previous Relationship With Stause
Earlier this year, Oppenheim spilled the tea about the dynamics of his romance with Stause, especially the decision to keep it on the low. He explained that he initially tried savoring the early moments of his relationship with the 41-year-old actress before the media got wind of their relationship.
While they succeeded â with the former couple enjoying a few months alone before revealing their relationship in an exclusive interview â the 45-year-old described those few months as challenging for the duo.
According to The Blast, Oppenheim described the struggle, saying, "We kept that private for a while, but we were so careful. And that was so difficult. I didn't want to go through that again."
The stars met on the set of the popular Netflix reality series "Selling Sunset" and built a tight bond as friends before eventually falling for each other. They admitted that they became a couple in July before sharing passionate photos of themselves on Instagram.
They were also captured by paparazzi attending events together. This public display of affection only fueled people to believe that the duo got stronger as a couple. Unfortunately, the pair split up after five months of dating due to conflicting views about starting a family.
Oppenheim and Stause, nevertheless, continue to remain good friends. He stated that while they are no longer a couple, he and the actress are "in a really good place" and want the best for each other.
Oppenheim Will Feature New Relationship On 'Selling Sunset'
Following his split from his co-worker Stause, the tv personality has found love again and is more than thrilled to show it off!
Per The Blast, the star's new relationship with his current partner, Marie-Lou Nurk, will be featured in the upcoming season of his successful Netflix series, "Selling Sunset."
Although the "Selling L.A" star initially admitted that he did not foresee himself being in a new relationship in two to three years after his last one; luck, however, seemed to shine on him when he met his new boo Nurk on a Mykonos island this summer.
The real estate mogul immediately knew he wanted to spend quality time with her, thus deciding to showcase their love life in the reality series.
Disclosing in an interview, he said, "We filmed a couple of times already, and I have no problem filming more [and] I'm sure we will. She [Nurk] is coming out here to spend a couple more months out here at the end of the year. So, you know, maybe we'll film".
