Mark Wahlberg is hard at work promoting his new film Spenser Confidential, which was released on Netflix last Friday. In the film, he plays an ex-cop turned private detective who has a stint in jail for assaulting an officer. Post Malone makes his acting debut in the movie, playing an inmate named Squeeb.
On Sunday, Wahlberg shared an action scene from the film. In it, he is in jail talking to Squeeb when things turn physical and Wahlberg's character -- Spenser -- is forced to fight his way out of the situation against several inmates.
Fans seemed to enjoy the film despite low ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.
"Let's be real
@markwahlberg
has never made a movie that wasn't great but to add
@postmalone
was the best thing ever!" one said.
"Watched it today, great movie, hope there's gonna be a 2nd one. Spencer got more work to do," another said.
"Great movies guys. We really enjoyed it. Look forward to seeing more of #PostMalone in the movies," a third commented.

Wahlberg was on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" and talked about his and Post Malone's tattoos during the interview. He revealed that'd he had some removed, and told Malone about the painful process.
"I had like eight or nine [tattoos removed]," Wahlberg said. "All the way around my neck, my stomach, my arms, my back, my leg."
"What made you want to get them removed?" Corden asked. "Maturity. Sensibility," Wahlberg replied.
"Did you ever pull Post Malone aside and go, 'Listen...'?" Coden asked.
"Yes, I have, and you know what, he's now since added more to his face," Wahlberg joked.
"It took me five years to get the tattoos removed and it's dreadfully painful," he said. "It's like hot bacon grease getting flicked on you over and over and over again....I told Posty, it's gonna be a lot of Bud Lights trying to get those things off you."
"What did he say?" Corden asked.
"He says what every kid says, what I said when I got my tattoos. 'Oh no, no, no, they all have meaning. I'm going to keep them forever,'" Wahlberg answered. "But then you realize, 'I'm pushing 40, I've gotta do something about this.'"
Malone talked to GQ in a recent interview about why he thinks he has some many face tattoos.
"I’m an ugly ass motherfu--er," he said. "It does maybe come from a place of insecurity, to where I don’t like how I look, so I'm going to put something cool on there so I can look at myself and say, 'You look cool, kid,' and have a modicum of self-confidence when it comes to my appearance."
