Kylie Jenner knows the rules. You sunbathe, you protect your skin. The 22-year-old reality star and makeup mogul took to Instagram on Saturday with photos and videos of herself covering her sizzling body in sunscreen spray – given that the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star was in a bikini, the spraying was more of a shower deal. It was also excellent promo for Kylie Skin’s newly-launched sunscreen, even if the product wasn’t tagged.
The post wasn’t live more than 45 minutes before finding its most-liked comment taking the critical route – and it wasn’t from a random fan. Sister Kendall Jenner had something to say.

Kylie opened her post with a sun-drenched shot of herself holding a can of sunscreen spray. The Lip Kit queen had been photographed outdoors and ready to soak up the sun as she flaunted her super-curvy frame in a tiny ribbed bikini in rusty brown. The profile positioning was showing off the billionaire’s sensational hips and booty, with a swipe to the right showing Kylie bending down as she sprayed her legs.
Meanwhile, the videos showed Kylie applying the product to her chest and stomach, also holding back her new honey-blonde hair.
A caption from Kylie had pointed towards the activity.
“wear your sunscreen,” she wrote.
While the post clocked an impressive 2.1 million+ likes in 45 minutes, it likewise saw 24-year-old sister Kendall Jenner swoop into the comments section. The Adidas spokesperson’s comment racked up over 15,000 likes.
“no photo/creative direction cred is just rude,” Kendall wrote.
Not one to miss a comment from her sister, Kylie clapped right back.
“let me live!!!!!” she wrote.
Kylie’s reply sat at over 8,000 likes at the post’s 45-minute mark. Kendall seemed to have won.
Kylie has been crediting her photographer a fair bit. The star employs freelance photographer Amber Asaly, having taken Amber along for the recent Bahamas trip that had everybody talking. Amber shot Kylie solo during her vacation, she snapped Kendall and Kylie on the beach, and she took to her own Instagram to share the luxury perks of staying in a beachfront villa where rooms cost $15,000 per night.
The comment left to Kylie’s Instagram today may have been semi-joking, but the recent backlash Kylie has faced has been far from light-hearted – the star was accused of cultural appropriation recently on account of her curly-haired update.
Amber isn’t a newb when it comes to snapping the Kardashians. 2019 saw her tag along for Kylie’s high-profile “Kylie Skin Summer Trip” as the makeup mogul promoted her new skincare line.
“This summer has been fucking amazing. Kylie invited me on her Kylie Skin trip as a friend but also to catch the vibes and get cute pictures,” Amber told Cosmopolitan.
“And when I’m in a beautiful location with beautiful people and I happen to have dope cameras. I’m gonna do my thing no matter what. And they want dope pictures too, so it kinda just works hand-in-hand,” she added.
Kylie’s recent Bahamas trip also saw her joined by 2-year-old daughter Stormi plus BFF Stassie Karanikolaou.
