Fans Are Not Happy With Jason Momoa Today

It seems the actor, Jason Momoa, is in some serious trouble with his fans today. The actor is best known for his role in Game of Thrones and Aquaman. It was really a mistake on the actor's part. Which is something that many people have already called him out for on his posts.

Just what is the big deal today? Jason Momoa posted an image on his Instagram that has him posing with Mel Gibson. Which is what has fans riled up.

Momoa posted on his Instagram a carousel of three pictures. In these pictures, two have Mel Gibson and one has his co-star Peter Dinklage. Which they seem pretty innocent like just three guys having fun. The downside here is that Mel Gibson is in the photos.

Jason captioned the post with this. "ICON," Momoa wrote of Gibson. "Legend MEL you made my childhood amazing MAD MAX MARTIN RIGGS WILLIAM WALLACE in my opinion even a greater director. Thank you sir for APOCALYPTO and yes anything you need from me I'M F—ING IN MEL. Good to see u as always Peter you always light me up love u bro"

Fan's aren't happy. Many of the comments are as followed: "But he's an anti-Semite" and "This just ain't it bro" followed by "Seriously, putting a sexist, anti semitic and racist on a pedestal?"

Fans are upset because Mel Gibson has a past. He has a past that isn't easily condensed into a small essay. To put it short it starts in 1991 for making comments about the LGBTQ+ community. Which for most is enough to have people come under fire.

That is just the start though. He didn't apologize for years for the comments. Then his movie Braveheart came under fire. Critics came after the movie that the actor both starred in and directed for homophobic and antisemitic undertones.

Which is bad enough but it goes on. He has also been accused of domestic abuse with his ex-wife Oksana Grigorieva. There was a call that suggested that he thought Oksana would be sexually assaulted. She took out a restraining order to protect herself and their daughter.

"I've never treated anyone badly or in a discriminatory way based on their gender, race, religion or sexuality – period," Gibson said.

Which is why fans are upset. He has been in the limelight for bad reasons. Many creators do not want to work with him. It would seem that Jason Momoa is not taking part in not working or being around him. Many movie fans are baffled by it and how Jason can be around him. That and praise him knowing the allegations. We will see if the post stays up or is taken down.
