He's here! After over a year away from the ring, one of the most unique and popular WWE Superstars of all time is now back. Bray Wyatt has finally made his grand return to the WWE Universe and all is right with the world!

Bray Wyatt Originally Released By The WWE In 2021

Before the joy, let us get to the pain. In one of the more surprising moments in the history of WWE releases, Bray Wyatt, who was easily one of the most original characters in the WWE in the past several years was let go in July of 2021, over what was first reported as major budget cuts.

The message was clear on WWE's website, “WWE has come to terms on the release of Bray Wyatt. We wish him the best in all his future endeavors.” And as quick as that, it had wrestling fans reeling on what the charismatic star was going to do next. Before his release he hadn't wrestled since the WWE's biggest event of that year, WrestleMania 37 in April of 2021, where he lost to Randy Orton. So the amount of time people have been waiting for his return has been very long. Fans have been clamoring for a long time to see one of their favorites be back in the swing of things and back in the ring.

Wyatt who plays a mix of characters including the supernatural character called "The Fiend", along with his "Firefly Fun House" vision of Bray Wyatt in promos that are not only interesting but also creepy segments that show him as almost a very twisted Mr. Rogers. These characters that he has played had delighted and frightened the WWE Universe throughout his entire first tenure with the company. So for him to be let go was quite the surprise to say the least.

Wyatt also comes from wrestling family royalty as he is the son of Mike Rotunda and the grandson of Blackjack Mulligan. Upon his initial run in the WWE, he ended up reaching the mountain top on a few occasions as he has been both the WWE Champion and the WWE Universal Champion twice.

Though many stayed hopeful of his eventual return or maybe an appearance in AEW, many lost hope as the months went by without him returning. But that was yesterday and we are here today, and the return of Bray Wyatt to WWE television has finally become real life.

WWE Has Teased The Return Of Bray Wyatt For Weeks

Where there has been real life elements, there have also been many Easter Eggs the last few weeks on WWE television that have had fans thinking that Wyatt was returning. Everything from lights going out and the iconic song by Jefferson Airplane, 'White Rabbit' playing over the crowd at WWE Smackdown to a host of QR codes that appeared on a segments of 'WWE Raw' or SmackDown that led to an animation of a rabbit playing the game Hangman, or different visions of pigs dancing or many other elements that all have made people think that Bray Wyatt was the one to return and answer the call from all the messages that were being put out.

When it comes to the rabbit playing the game Hangman, the clue was revealed to say "Who Killed the World?" and as the animation showed the answer, that resulted in the answer, "You did." To finalize it all and have everyone's speculations go haywire, once everything was solved with the puzzle, the text changed to say "9.23" in "SmackDown" colors, which just so happened to be the date that many fans thought he was going to appear. But instead of appearing, only more clues have been released to where every wrestling fan has been convinced that the reveal was going to go down at the WWE Extreme Rules Premium Live Event on October 8th.

And we now have that answer but also many more questions.

Bray Wyatt Returns To The WWE During WWE Extreme Rules

During the WWE Extreme Rules Premium Live Event on October 8th, the big moment finally happened and Bray Wyatt returned to the WWE. During an amazing reveal, Bray Wyatt finally came out to reintroduce himself to a WWE Universe that was as hyped as they ever could be.

Following the Fight Pit main event match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle, the arena filled with the sounds of Wyatt singing, “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands.” Which is a staple of his character from past promos he has shared with the WWE Universe.

From there, many people were  disguised as Wyatt’s various alter-egos and companions of his old Firefly FunHouse. This included the likes of Mercy the Buzzard, Ramblin’ Rabbit, Abby the Witch, and even The Fiend. The reveal continued as the Firefly FunHouse was shown to be in shambles. This led to many more distorted visions to where Wyatt revealed himself to the waiting fans who were as excited as possible. All that can be seen above.

But now that he is back, in spectacular fashion, what else is he going to do and whom else will he go after? He has our undivided attention. We are very eager to see the madness he will bring. Whatever he does next, there are now more questions than answers now that he is back. We can't wait to see what is up his sleeve as the reintroduction was a complete home run.
