Welcome to “Jeopardy!” In Review! This week, we will be revisiting the episodes from September 26 through September 30 as season 39 continues.

"Jeopardy!" is being hosted by Ken Jennings until the end of the calendar year, at which point "The Big Bang Theory" alum Mayim Bialik will take over hosting duties until further notice.

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

Monday, September 26 – Michael Returns

On Monday, Michael, a data analyst, returned to defend his two-day total of $28,402 dollars against David, an Episcopal priest, and Sue, a software developer.

The first round featured the categories: THE "GIST" OF THE JOB // SMALL MAMMALS // HYPHENATED WORDS // FRIENDS (the TV show) // ROMANS // COUNTRY MEN & WOMEN

After the first round, Michael had $6,000, Sue had $200, and David had $9,400.

The Double Jeopardy! round featured the categories: HISTORIC NICKNAMES // WRITING IMPLEMENTS // MOUNTAIN WORLD // POP MUSIC // SHAKESPEARE'S KINGS & QUEENS// "S" WORDS

Going into the Final Jeopardy! round, David had $21,800, Michael had $8,400, and Sue had $1,400.

The Final Jeopardy! category was "MAGAZINES." The clue read: "A now annual issue of this magazine was inspired by the high-society parties of Caroline Astor, whose ballroom fit about 400 people."

No one provided a correct answer of "What is Forbes?" David bet nothing so he became the new champ with a one-day total of $21,800.

Tuesday, September 27 -  David Returns

On Tuesday, David, an Episcopal priest, returned to defend his one-day total of $21,800 dollars against Charlotte, an office manager, and Nick, a software developer.

The first round featured the categories: THE MAP OF INDIA // HOBBIES & PASTIMES // A FRIENDLY WORD // LITERARY PROFESSIONS // CASH // CREDITS

At the end of the first round, David had $8,000, Nick had -$200, and Charlotte had $6,600.

The Double Jeopardy! round featured the categories: THE 19th CENTURY // JAZZ NICKNAMES // POLITICAL WRITING // ALPHANUMERICS // NON-NYE SCIENCE GUYS // ALSO IN THE CIRCUS

Going into the Final Jeopardy! round, David had $22,400, Charlotte had $10,200, and Nick had $2,600.

The Final Jeopardy! category was "WORLD AIRPORTS." The clue read: "Africa’s 2 busiest passenger airports are in these 2 countries; it’s an 8-hour flight between them."

Both Nick and David were able to come up with a correct answer of "What are South Africa and Egypt?" David again decided to bet nothing and became a two-day champion with a total of $44,200 dollars.

Wednesday, September 28 - David Returns

On Wednesday, David, an Episcopal priest, returned to defend his two-day total of $44,200 dollars against Emily, a middle school counselor, and Sam, a statistics professor.

The first round featured the categories: OFF TO NEW ENGLAND // HATCHET MAN // HISTORY // ONE-NAMED ROCK STARS // MATERIAL // I LONG FOR LONG "U"

At the end of the first round, David had $2,200, Sam had $2,600, and Emily had $7,600.

The Double Jeopardy! round featured the categories: CLIFF NOTES // A LETTER, THEN A WORD // THE RIGHT BROTHERS // THE ACTOR'S STUDIO // NATURALISTS // AND THE STATE GOES TO...

Going into the Final Jeopardy! round, David had $14,600, Emily had $8,800 for Emily, and Sam had $7,800.

The Final Jeopardy! category was "WORLD RIVERS." The clue read: "These 2 rivers share the names of countries, end with the same 4 letters & both join up with the Parana River."

No one was able to come up with a correct answer of "What are Paraguay and Uruguay?" David lost $3,001 dollars but was still able to pick up 11,599 dollars for a three-day total of $55,799 dollars.

Thursday, September 29 - David Returns

On Thursday, David, an Episcopal priest, returned to defend his three-day total of $55,799 dollars againstSonalee, a life sciences counselor, and Moira, an accountant.

The first round featured the categories: THE EX-COUNTRY // STAY HEALTHY // MAKING THE ROUNDS // RELIGION // CHARACTERS ON THE TV SHOW // BEASTLY TALK

After the first round, David had $6,400, Moira had $4,400, and Sonalee had $2,000.

The Double Jeopardy! round featured the categories: READING RAINBOW // THE BEATLE'S NON-BEATLES SONG // U.S. COUNTIES // FROM DAWN TO DUSK // PIRATES! // THERE'S A PRICE ON MY HEAD

Going into the Final Jeopardy! round, David had $22,300, while Moira and Sonalee both had $4,800.

The Final Jeopardy! category was "INNOVATIONS." The clue read: "Seen by a worldwide audience in 1970, black pentagons were added to these to help viewers follow them better on TV."

No one was able to come up with a correct answer of "What are soccer balls?" David only bet one dollar, so he won $22,799 dollars to create a four-day total of $78,098 dollars.

Friday, September 30 - David Returns

On Friday, David, an Episcopal priest, returned to defend his four-day total of $78,098 dollars against Cris, a customer success operations manager, and Pam, a high school science teacher.

The first round featured the categories: SUPERNATURAL STORIES // OFFICIAL STATE STUFF // SANDWICHES // A PRO TEAM IN THAT SPORT // POPES UNDER THE SCOPE // IT'S "OVER"

At the end of the first round, David had $2,000, Pam had $4,800, and Cris had $6,800.

The Double Jeopardy! round featured the categories: BODIES OF WATER // AS CREDITED ON THEIR IMDb PAGE // SAME FIRST AND LAST CONSONANT// BEG // BORROW // STEEL

Going into the Final Jeopardy! round, Cris had $29,800, Pam had $14,000, and David had $4,000.

The Final Jeopardy! category was "BEFORE THEY WERE AUTHORS." The clue read: "While working for British intelligence during World War II, he was codenamed 17F."

Both Pam and David were able to come up with a correct answer of "Who was Ian Fleming?" Cris lost only $221 dollars to create a new one-day total of $29,579 dollars.

But will that win streak continue on Monday? Fans will just have to tune in to find out!
