‘Jeopardy!’ In Review: September 26 - 30, Everything You Missed!

Welcome to “Jeopardy!” In Review! This week, we will be revisiting the episodes from September 26 through September 30 as season 39 continues.

"Jeopardy!" is being hosted by Ken Jennings until the end of the calendar year, at which point "The Big Bang Theory" alum Mayim Bialik will take over hosting duties until further notice.

On Monday, Michael, a data analyst, returned to defend his two-day total of $28,402 dollars against David, an Episcopal priest, and Sue, a software developer.

No one provided a correct answer of "What is Forbes?" David bet nothing so he became the new champ with a one-day total of $21,800.

On Tuesday, David, an Episcopal priest, returned to defend his one-day total of $21,800 dollars against Charlotte, an office manager, and Nick, a software developer.

The first round featured the categories: THE MAP OF INDIA // HOBBIES & PASTIMES // A FRIENDLY WORD // LITERARY PROFESSIONS // CASH // CREDITS

At the end of the first round, David had $8,000, Nick had -$200, and Charlotte had $6,600.

Going into the Final Jeopardy! round, David had $22,400, Charlotte had $10,200, and Nick had $2,600.

The Final Jeopardy! category was "WORLD AIRPORTS." The clue read: "Africa’s 2 busiest passenger airports are in these 2 countries; it’s an 8-hour flight between them."

Both Nick and David were able to come up with a correct answer of "What are South Africa and Egypt?" David again decided to bet nothing and became a two-day champion with a total of $44,200 dollars.

On Wednesday, David, an Episcopal priest, returned to defend his two-day total of $44,200 dollars against Emily, a middle school counselor, and Sam, a statistics professor.

At the end of the first round, David had $2,200, Sam had $2,600, and Emily had $7,600.

No one was able to come up with a correct answer of "What are Paraguay and Uruguay?" David lost $3,001 dollars but was still able to pick up 11,599 dollars for a three-day total of $55,799 dollars.

On Thursday, David, an Episcopal priest, returned to defend his three-day total of $55,799 dollars againstSonalee, a life sciences counselor, and Moira, an accountant.

After the first round, David had $6,400, Moira had $4,400, and Sonalee had $2,000.

No one was able to come up with a correct answer of "What are soccer balls?" David only bet one dollar, so he won $22,799 dollars to create a four-day total of $78,098 dollars.

On Friday, David, an Episcopal priest, returned to defend his four-day total of $78,098 dollars against Cris, a customer success operations manager, and Pam, a high school science teacher.

At the end of the first round, David had $2,000, Pam had $4,800, and Cris had $6,800.

Both Pam and David were able to come up with a correct answer of "Who was Ian Fleming?" Cris lost only $221 dollars to create a new one-day total of $29,579 dollars.
