Jim Edmonds and his girlfriend, model turned realtor Kortnie O’Connor, are reportedly moving quickly as they enjoy their new romance.
Just days after one of Jim’s friends shared a photo of the two of them on her Instagram Stories, an insider has revealed new details about their relationship to In Touch Weekly magazine and explained how Jim’s estranged wife, Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds, who is also the mother of his three children, is coping with the news.
“[Jim Edmonds is] moving really fast,” an insider told the magazine on March 5. “Jim is obsessed with Kortnie. He says he’s having a great time and he’s finally happy. They have fun together and they make a great couple.”
There’s “no drama,” the source continued.
Even Jim’s daughter, Hayley Edmonds, who long voiced her dislike of Meghan, is a fan of his new girlfriend. In fact, Hayley re-shared his friend’s photo of the four of them enjoying time in Nashville on her own Instagram page.
“At first, [Meghan] was upset about it. She didn’t want Kortnie around her kids,” the source explained. “But now she’s telling friends she’s over it. She doesn’t care about Jim’s personal life unless it affects their children.”
As fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County will recall, Meghan first discussed Jim’s romance with Kortnie on her podcast series, Intimate Knowledge, in January.
At the time, Meghan claimed she and Jim once had a threesome with Kortnie and slammed her former friend for her betrayal.
The In Touch Weekly insider went on to reveal that Meghan appears to be happy for Jim and Kortnie at the current time and feels that she’s come “full circle” after their October 2019 split.
“Kortnie seems fine. If she can keep Jim happy, well, more power to her. She can have him,” the insider shared. “Meghan has come full circle. She’s trying to let go of all the anger. She says she wants to move on with her life, and she wants Jim to do the same.”
After Meghan went public with her claims of a threesome with Jim and Kortnie and suggested Kortnie should have given her a heads up about her romance with Jim, Jim said the two women no longer have a close friendship with one another while chatting about their recent trip to Mexico.
“I was invited to a surprise birthday party this weekend for one of my best friends and decided to bring a date,” he told Us Weekly.
Kortnie and Meghan “have not spoken in over three years,” he added.
