Lamar Odom Wants Khloe Kardashian To Find 'Happiness' After Tristan Thompson Debacle

NBA superstar Lamar Odom has aired his emotional wish for ex-wife Khloe Kardashian following the debut of "The Kardashians" on Thursday.

The former basketball player said to E! News that it was difficult for him to watch since he could see Khole upset by all the baby drama between her and her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

Despite their past, the 42-year-old said he still thinks highly of Khloe and wants her to "find happiness" amid the drama in her life.

Khloe recently welcomed another child via surrogacy with Thompson. The pair are also parents to their four-year-old daughter, True.

Speaking with E! News, Odom commented on the scenes that involved his ex-wife Khloe in the new season of "The Kardashians." The former NBA star shared that though he is always excited to see her on the reality series, her latest feature took an emotional toll on him.

"It was hard for me to watch that," Lamar, told the publication about his reaction to the reality series premiere. "It's always going to be hard for me to watch someone I love so much sad like that."

"She was crying on the show, and everybody was questioning her and s–t like that," Odom added. "That was probably a hard time for her.

The 42-year-old and the reality star had a troubled marriage, ending with the pair finalizing a divorce in 2016. However, despite their history, which was filled with infidelity scandals, Odom told the publication that he only wished Khloe would "find happiness" in whatever way she could to end the long-running drama in her life.

Odom's comment about Khloe having a hard time in her life referenced the drama that started when the reality star discovered that her then-partner Tristan Thompson was expecting a child with model Maralee Nichols.

The news of Nichols being pregnant made the headlines around the same time Thompson and Khole's surrogate was already pregnant with their child. The former Cleveland Cavaliers player and the Good American founder at the time were attempting to get back together before the massive scandal ended that possibility.

The scandal was extensively covered in the first episode of "The Kardashians," which aired earlier on Thursday. Khole's family members, including Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, voiced their distaste for Thompson pressuring Khloé to have their baby at the same time he was expecting with someone else.

Khloe also berated her ex on the show, saying she was upset when she discovered what he had done, adding that his actions were premeditated.

She said per US Weekly, "I was definitely very angry, and I think feeling bamboozled. All I know is I was being encouraged to do it by a certain date. In hindsight, he always knew when the other baby was being born, and especially getting the paperwork that we saw — he found out July 2."

The reality star also drew parallels from the ordeal in relation to Thompson cheating on her when she bore their daughter True.

"When I had True, I found out 48 hours before she was born that Tristan was cheating on me, and then I went into labor weeks early because I was so stressed out," she added.

Elsewhere in the debut episode of the second season of the reality series, Khloe also shared that sharing a second child with Thompson came with a lot of mixed feelings. However, once the surrogate mother delivered the child, the reality star felt like she could "heal" once more.

The improvement in her mood was so good that she consented to Thompson's request to see the baby after being initially undecided due to her still feeling hurt.

She said per Daily Mail, "'I've been on the fence about letting Tristan come to the hospital or not, but Tristan wants to be here, so I just figured, why not let him come? I'll never get this moment back."

Although the pair have not revealed the newborn's name, the new episode revealed that his name would start with a "T," just like True and her father.
