Paige started her wrestling career when she was just thirteen-years-old. She comes from the famous Knight family in England, and wanted to follow in her parents' footsteps.

At the age of 18, Paige discovered she was pregnant. But tragedy would strike for the wrestler.

Paige suffered a miscarriage early in the pregnancy. After losing the baby, Paige had to undergo surgery to fix an issue with her ovaries.

As Paige would later reveal during a confessional on Total Divas, the surgery left her with the inability to have children.

In the spring of 2016, Paige began dating wrestler Alberto Del Rio.

The relationship was shocking for a variety of reasons. One reason was because Del Rio was fifteen years older than Paige.

The other is that months earlier, Del Rio had divorced his wife.

Paige's relationship Del Rio caused concern with her family, friends, and co-workers, who felt Del Rio was a bad influence on her.

Despite the criticism, Paige and Alberto continued their relationship. In October 2016, the couple became engaged.

However, fans would soon get a glimpse of the turbulent relationship between Paige and Del Rio.

In the summer of 2017, the couple had a heated argument at an airport in Orlando, Florida.

Shortly after the incident, the couple broke up.

In September of that year, Paige underwent surgery to fix the issues in her neck.

Paige was out for over a year as she worked on her recovery. In November 2017, she made her return to WWE television and competed inside the ring.

It looked like Paige's career was picking up steam again, however at a December house show, Paige suffered another injury during a tag match. After being kicked in the back by Sasha Banks, Paige fell to the ground and had to be helped to the back by officials.

Following the injury, Paige worked mostly as a manager and commentator. In April 2018, she addressed her injury issue and her career in wrestling. Paige told the crowd that because of her injury she would be forced to retire from wrestling.
