Great Scott! The two stars of ‘Back To The Future’ reunited for a charity event and the pictures of the dynamic duo are awesome!
Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd joined together to play in the annual Texas Hold Em’ poker tournament benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. The duo joined together for a couple of photos and they are epic.
The two stars have not shared big screen making movies for over 30 years, but it looks like they picked up right where the left off!
The pictures give fans of the movie franchise a little bit of hope that we may still someday get ‘Back To The Future 4’ even though the idea has been shelved for some time.
According to reports, Lloyd previously shut down the idea of doing another movie but said he would like to see some sort of crossover of he and Fox’s character (Marty McFly) and their animated counterparts, Rick and Morty.
“I think it’s fabulous. I’ve watched it, I love the humor in it, I love the characters,” Lloyd said at a German Comic-Con event.
He continued, “I’ve had a fantasy that they make another Back to the Future, Back to the Future 4. And Back to the Future 4 — it’s not happening — but if it did, Back to the Future 4 collides with Rick and Morty. Someway, somewhere in another time zone, in another space zone.”
Christopher “Doc’ Lloyd said crossing over the 4 characters would be “fascinating,” added Lloyd who said it would be dope to have them ” have a hamburger or something.”
He added, “I don’t know. But something really way out there…maybe a good writer or something. But I think that would be kind of fun.”
Both Fox and Lloyd posted photos on their respective Instagram pages, with Doc saying, “Going 88mph for the @michaeljfoxorg Poker Night.”
As we reported, rumors have flown around the idea of remaking the movies with Tom Holland starring as Marty McFly. Plus, after an internet video was made with Robert Downey Jr. as ‘Doc.’ Holland seems to confirm that there had been discussions but didn’t think it was likely any time soon.
“I’d be lying if I said there hadn’t been conversations in the past about doing some sort of remake, but that film is the most perfect film — or one of the most perfect films, one that could never be made better,” Holland told BBC Radio.
He continued, “That said, if RDJ and I could just shoot that one scene that they remade for fun — he could pay for it cause he’s got loads of money — I would do it for my fee and we could remake that scene. I think we owe it to deep fake because they did such a good job. … I think I’m gonna speak to Robert and see if we can try to recreate something for deep fake.”
Either way, just seeing them together is heartwarming, and we are going to go stream the movie tonight!
