Thylane Blondeau stopped her Instagram followers in their tracks on Thurday. If the name is completely unfamiliar to you, 18-year-old Thylane is the French model who’s been dubbed the “World’s Most Beautiful Girl” – and she was spotted when she was only 4. French designer Jean Paul Gaultier plucked her out from the crowd at the tender childhood age, but Thylane’s appeal didn’t stop at childhood.
Thylane updated her Instagram with a simple video today. The European was enjoying a refreshing beverage – everything this girl does wows her fans, though.
The video wasn’t anything fancy. It showed the Aix-en-Provence native in a room backed by shelves of cosmetics – Thylane frequently updates her social media from shoots. The brunette was seen filmed from the waist up and wearing a pale blue hoodie with the zip partly pulled-down for a bare-shouldered finish.
Thylane pouted for the camera while drinking her “Bio” organic fruit water, also shaking her shoulders from side to side for a girly finish. The star was pulling off a slight Ariana Grande vibe via her high ponytail, but that’s nothing new – Thylane’s recent appearance at the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week saw her channeling the 26-year-old singer’s iconic hairdo.
Thylane’s Instagram following isn’t all that high. The star has 3.4 million followers. Nonetheless, Thylane can rake in the engagement one might expect over on a major celebrity’s account. The model’s video clocked an impressive 260,000+ views in three hours, also bringing in plenty of comments.
“Stay hydrated but make it fashion,” one fan wrote.
Others, however, seemed completely mesmerized by the French beauty.
“ok wow this is the best video i’ve ever seen. you look so pretty,” one fan wrote.
“Cutesttt?,” another said.
“Wow” was another comment.
Thylane may pout in her photos, but the girl behind the fast-rising face is modest. Thylane has given a handful of interviews – one, in particular, saw the star refuse to acknowledge her status.
“Firstly: I do not consider myself the most beautiful girl in the world! When I was little, people always told me. But I did not even understand what they meant. Because who says that? Who says I am the most beautiful?” she told L’Officiel with Unilad translating her words.
The star went onto confessing that she is shy.
Thylane is more than just an Instagram face. She’s walked the runway for power designers including Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana, with 2019 seeing her crowned Model of The Year by Cosmopolitan.
Valentine’s Day saw Thylane in promotional mode for French clothing and fragrance brand Cacharel – Thylane fronts its fragrances. The romantic shoot showed Blondeau posing between retro TVs, although her Instagram is far from promo-central. Thylane has even updated her account while napping and surrounded by soft toys.
