Salma Hayek Dotes On Lookalike Daughter Valentina For 15th Birthday: 'My Everything'

Salma Hayek is doting on her mini-me! The actress recently took to social media to celebrate her beloved daughter Valentina who just turned 15.

In the post, Hayek declared how important her daughter is to her, but not without blessing fans with some heartwarming throwback pictures.

On Instagram, the "Eternals" actress posted four slides of photos and videos to commemorate Valentina's special day. The first two slides were throwback photos of her daughter.

In the first frame, little Valentina appeared to be sleeping peacefully, tucked underneath a brown blanket, while the second slide showed the celebrant during one of her birthdays as a child. Valentina stood in front of a large yellow smiley-face cake while stuffing a piece of the cake into her mouth with one hand, holding a cupcake in the other. 

She looked so adorable and mischievous in the throwback image, which saw a rainbow drawn on her forehead.

The remaining slides from the post showed brief videos of grown-up Valentina dancing on a crowded dance floor in what seemed like her quinceanera. Pretty Valentina danced freely, flipping her hair vigorously to a Spanish song playing in the background. 

In her caption, the actress expressed how grateful and privileged she felt to have Valentina in her life. She wrote, "Happy 15th birthday to my lovely 15th birthday girl. Valentina, you are my everything. Thank you for lighting up our lives with the strength of your wonderful spirit. It’s a privilege to be your Mom. I love you with all my heart. Heart emoji. #theygrowsofast."

Trust her fans to also spread love to her daughter. The comment section boomed with lots of "happy birthday Valentina" remarks. Excited Blake Lively, who starred alongside Hayek in the 2012 movie "Savages," commented, "I took that second photo ?. My baby."

Earlier this year, Hayek and her carbon copy appeared as cover girls for Vogue Mexico’s May issue. 

The stunning duo graced the cover of the prestigious magazine, both dressed in stylish outfits from Gucci. From a mix of floral and prints to chic, sporty looks.

In a conversation with the Emmy Award winner and Valentina where they talked about fashion and clothes. Hakey told the outlet, "We fight over clothes because she takes everything from my closet. Since she was little, she never let me choose her clothes, and I always liked that."

Valentina then shared her perspective on fashion and fancy designer labels, saying, "The truth is that when it comes to clothes, I love hers, but in general, I always wear what I like. I hardly notice the brand. In general, I also like to combine and wear vintage pieces."

Coupled with the fact that Hayek and her daughter have a striking resemblance, they also share the same birth month.

On September 2, Hayek turned 56. Per The Blast, the actress shared a six seconds video on Instagram to mark the milestone.

In the clip, she wore a red bikini set styled with a wide-brimmed straw hat and angular green sunglasses. Excitedly, the actress wiggled her hips to a "happy birthday to ya" rhythm. 

Fans were in awe as the 56-year-old still looked great and couldn't help but compliment her looks. In the past, "The Hitman's Bodyguard" star has dished on her beauty secrets, revealing how she manages to look decades younger.

She disclosed that her grandmother was trained in cosmetology and thankfully shared some tips in an interview with Glamour Magazine. Hayek revealed, "My grandmother taught me that at night, your skin replenishes all the things you lost during the day. Also, if I cleanse very well at night, why would it be dirty when I wake up?"

The Mexican-born actress is also a fan of DIY hacks, as she also told the outlet, "You can use a little bit of oatmeal and then some water or almond milk, and a little bit of honey. You let it soak, and it’s a great cleanser that makes your skin very soft."

Apart from using some cosmetic tips learned from her mother, Hayek also indulges in yoga and meditation to live a stress-free life.

"I meditate. I can meditate for one minute, or I can meditate straight through one and a half hours," she once shared.
